I feel it would be worth Nickleodeon having something akin to how Marvel has a thematic split between their cinematic and animated representations of the brand. As much as I love the animated TMNT the simple fact is that it isn't true to the source materials themes and consequently lacks the kind if nareative depth needed for movies. I think that a cinematic TMNT that is faithful to the comics and clearly depicts the brothers as reluctant heroes who are caught up in Splinter's misguided quest for revenge is so much more intetesting. Redemption arcs are always very entertaining and seeing these characters realise the destructive nature of seeking revenge and slowly turn away from a selfish ideology towards using their talents to help others would be amazing.
i wish karai could get her own side story like casey and april as this karai past is mystery as we don't know about karai husband ,karai parents as she is not related to shredder
It’s actually interesting differences side of about April has sister, Casey Jones has different names, plus more ideas in vocabulary of being of Starting of prequel to comic of being of Alternative stories TMNT.
The ultimate B&W collection has 6 books that have most of volume one. Volume two was collected in some color classic collections, and volume 4 has not been collected so far.
fan.kevineastmanstudios.com/product/very-hard-to-find-limited-edition-signed-mirage-studios-print/ It wasn't a cover, it was a pin-up in the 50th issue of TMNT.
If only there was a volume 4 of mirages tmnt color classics just so we can collect the whole City at War story in color. I wanna read it but only in color. Yet a fourth color classics volume was never published.
Mmm wasn't it collected in color? I know it was reprinted in color in single issues. Neither version looks like the original anyway (the black and white one is missing tones).
Thanks for watching!
Is this the greatest TMNT story ever?
If not, which one do you think deserves that title?
Fun fact: the concept of "The Foot" clan was taken directly from "The Hand" clan of Marvel's Daredevil, according to Peter Laird.
i am so thankful for tmnt books like this. i own every original issue and will be in my casket
Casey's Mom be like "Hey Arnold!"
Enough of this “ be like “ crap

Great video man! Know of any collections that contains the most important events in the Mirage TMNT?

@@TheTurtleNexus Thanks man! the OG turtles will always be the best (in my opinion)
April sister looks a little bit like version of April from 87 Cartoon
I'm so hyped for this
Love the Splinter stuff and Karaï works but I still prefer return to New York. IDW version of City at war was fire though.
3:45 does anyone have a link online of that cover art cause its amazing

Wouldn't Prologue be better word to use then Prequel
Yes.
Any 2003 videos planned this month?
Two, actually. A couple of weeks from now.
@@TheTurtleNexus care to tease on what they’ll be about?
@@eddiejmartinez8631 Two villains. One is an updated video.

@@TheTurtleNexusI don’t think the colored version of the story was in a collected form.
TMNT The Works vol. 4 & 5 collects the entire City at War story.
They exist, just hard to get.
This comic series was a big deal when it was happening.
