Am I the only one thoroughly confused by the mention of a chain called “Pizza Pizza”, when Little Caesar’s uses the catchphrase “pizza pizza” in all their marketing
I was also super confused by this - I thought maybe Little Caesar’s went by that in Canada until he started talking about Little Caesar’s later. Whaddahell

It’s “Hot and Ready” in Canada because Pizza Pizza owns the trademark on that marketing slogan in Canada since it’s their name

pizza pizza is so trash its crazy. Flavorless sauce, cardboard crust, and pepperoni that literally just tastes like black pepper. And it isn't even cheap.
There is a Pizza Pizza near me that decided to split its pizza and chicken menu on delivery services, they call it Chicken Chicken.

I have to imagine little ceasers in Canada is just different/better than the USA. We have one in my city and it’s great and cheap, it’s just on the opposite end of town so I don’t get to eat there often
Papa John's has got worse over the years. I don't know why, but it just don't hit like it used to.
Conversely, Dominoes has gotten way better. I think they just absolutely cake their shit with garlic which might've been a 2010s development.
The pizza meme cannot hit home for me. Here Dominoes costs way more than any other pizza place, including all the nice Neapolitan pizza places. It's absurdly expensive for what it is, and yet I will continue to get it because it's the only pizza I can get at 2am.
It's not bad in the UK. It tastes good and you can get 2 14.5" pizzas for £25 delivery, which is cash when you're drunk and or lazy

As a fella that actually cooks Italian brick oven pizza as a jorb, I do enjoy dominos and pizza hut. Maybe it's the whole "you eat what you work and you get tired of it" type of thing but I cannot lie if you sans the garlic seasoning for some pizzas, dominos can bang at 11pm when it's the only place open nearby.
Little Ceasers though ohh i fuck with that toga wearing dude anyday even if it will give me good poisoning

Best pizza chain I’ve had is called Marco’s (I had it in Georgia). Tasted good. Didn’t make you feel “bad” or sickeningly stuffed. Balanced proportions (I like a medium thick dough’d pizza).
my ex boyfriend worked at papa johns in 2019, went back in 2020 and worked there until 2022. he said they used to buy fresh ingredients, cut up the veggies in the store, like the bell peppers, onions etc. which most chains dont do. good quality cheese and sauce. but in 2021 they started switching out their fresh ingredients for cheap ones, stuff that came in the bag already pre-cut, they started buying more frozen stuff. he said especially their cheese and veggies got a lot worse, and their meat. this might be regional as well, but these owners are basically most of the mountainous west

Authentic Italian pizza is so good that I still have Ratatouille moments when I eat something close to it from living there briefly in my childhood. Same with spaghetti and mussels
When Pizza Hut is good it clears everything but for some reason half the time its like they put rubber cement in the pizza dough. Dominoes fucking sucks, mfers being tricked because they put some parmesan on the crust and they're like ooh how sophisticated. If you're in Colorado though you know Blackjack is the GOAT of chain pizza.
