It's striking how much the make-up on this series can change between episodes.
Watching the meeting between her and Carla in the second half of the chapter above Hanna looks dramatically different to elsewhere, and I can't decide whether it is some difference in the make-up or whether her tieing back her hair like that can have such a dramatic effect on how she looks - beautiful, it really does flatter her! Elsewhere, especially in later chapters to come, she looks shabby by comparison with her hair down and unkept...
Their meeting is a somewhat confusing one for both it seems, while Hanna's inner confusion is very believable and relatable here, very well played and scripted, Carla's response to Hanna's hyper sensitive behaviour seems to suggest she simply doesn't know what to make of Hanna anymore - Is she 'interested', or is she not? Carla it seems can no longer read her. She has no idea anymore _what_ to make of Hanna.
While it's a fairly uneventful episode, and does little to move the Hanna/Carla relationship on, it does work in setting the stage for what comes in chapter 028, when Hanna does something totally unexpected for Carla, and her stunned reaction to it makes sense when you have watched this chapter here...

I love the angst in the office between Carla and Hanna... they both are nervous .. Carla on edge waiting at the lift for Hanna and Hanna waiting for the lift 2 go bk.
I love that they argue like a semi couple before they even become a couple.. it's like the tension and angst is getting to them both..
Also the height difference is SOOO visible at the lift.. I think that's why the age gap in real life is not so noticeable.. as Claudia looks and comes across mature for her age. (i think the gap is less than 10 years?!)
According to imdb, Claudia Hiersche (Carla) is 5'7" and was born 2/22/77. Katharina Dalichau (Hanna) is 5'3" and was born 8/9/70. So, *Claudia is 4" taller, 6.5 yrs older* .
Carla seems to wear seriously high heels at the office. I think Hanna's heels were shorter, making the height difference more pronounced, as you noticed.
