I don't really like them for each other. For me, it's way too weird an adult person to feel attracted by a teenager, maybe if Mer was in her early 20s, idk. It's not just a simple age gap, but of level of maturity, our brains change s lot after we turn 27/30 +. The show paired almost all teens to an adult, and for the topic of the show, that didn't sit well with me.
Very true about the brains. They just aren't formed. I would feel like I was taking advantage, and I would also feel like certain intellectual / emotional needs of mine wouldn't be able to be met.
Was just talking about this with someone. What would someone that much younger have to offer mentally ??

@@taylorgoodin3513 depends on the person because younger people can be more mature for their age due to life experience. Some of us had to grow up faster than others to help raise siblings and care for our family.
I dont get how this is an acceptable "couple". I get that the on screen chemistry is amazing, but one of them is a minor and the other one is IIRC 20 years older and WORKS in the child abuse department for the police. Just because the older person is a woman doesnt change the fact its grooming. Especially in a show like this i dont get it

Greta here is the main character's bff. there are 2 maybe 3 meaningful stories/plots and this is one of them. the series is full of aggressive and toxic behavior between teenage girls and boys
