I think that I, along with my uncle and his friends' help, beat Shrek 2 after renting it at least 5 times. My family was very patient with me lmfao

This game actually gets really dark toward the end. It's kinda jarring since it starts out pretty light (although with lots of toilet humor). O_o

This is one of those games where it seems alright but then the end is just fucking disturbing as all hell. Like, at the start it seems normal, then as it goes on it's like, "Oh. Okay. This is starting to look a little off." and then by the finale it's just like, "WHO WOULD LET THEIR CHILDREN PLAY THIS GAME!? This is the stuff of nightmares!"

I was wondering when Vinny would play this! I used to play this game for hours and hours when I still had a PS2. Even though it was really bare bones and not that well developed, it had its charm. Music was good. I was planning on sending Vin my Copy but it looks like I wont need to anymore.

i played this all the time as a kid, it was my favorite game ever. i would spend hours just being a dog and listening to the radio shows.
For anyone here in 2021 and beyond. Here's a fun fact. The composer for this game also did the music for Rimworld.

This game feels like a parody of source material that never existed.
This game was rated for ages 3+ in Europe. 3+. This game ends with a woman yelling "get your asses into the machine", before falling into a blood-stained meat grinder and getting ground into pulp.

Is this game really considered shovelware? It doesn't have this many glitches on actual console. It was also a LOT of fun

the game has no issues on console , he's using a emulator on his PC, that causes the glitches .
This was a great game, I have so good memories when I was like 7 years old on my dad's room playing it.. (i'm from 2001, i'm 17 right now)
I had this game when I was a kid and I loved the shit out of it, completed it 100%.

This game is my Childhood on the PS2. Played it all the time back in 2004. My blockbuster barely had any games. They only had mainstream games. Oddly enough, they had this game. This game wasn't very mainstream. I beat the game so many times.
Two things.
1. I couldn't believe this was a frontier game till I heard the Radio show.
2. This feels like someone wanted to create a early 2000s Cartoon network movie like Open Season or Hometown Hero but it was canceled and they where stuck with all these assets and just went "FUCK IT MAKE A GAME."
This looks like a game Jontron would tackle.
He basically already did back during Jontron-era Game Grumps.

I have the demo for this game and I enjoyed it, and I really want to get the actual game but unfortunately, its huge save requirement (over 1000KB) is preventing me from getting it.

This game was directed and designed by David Braben. If you know anything about late 80s/early 90s computer games, you will recognize him as the co-creator of the Elite series of space trading simulators. He went from making open world 3D games for 8 and 16 bit computers... to this.

The way the kid talks to his grandpa is really fucking depressing if you think about it. The way it's worded, it sounds like the man's old and delusional and the kid's just entertaining his fantasy. "Oh it's okay, I'm sure she'll back soon. She's just visiting a butterfly farm."
As soon as the intro started, I was like "oh nooooooooooo"
And then I eagerly watched the rest the video.
Wow what a fuckin ending. It’s like the end of that one 101 Dalmatians live action movie, where Cruela DeVil is made into a big cake, except this villain is killed and fed to cats.
I think the reason why Vinny played this game is because he tryed to find a Doug's game, but found this instead.

Despite the massive programming errors and terrible voice acting this game actually looks like it would be a good time to play as a silly open world game. the dog's movements are surprising lifelike as well, at least in comparison to most games from the era and even now
This was one of the most not-what-you-expect games around and I adored the change of pace playing this as a kid.

I remember seeing this game as a kid and despite never playing nor seeing anyone play it, I found it really scary despite loving dogs. Before watching videos I always check it out on tvtropes or wikipedia first so I won't get nightmares. The more I read about the more happy I got for staying away as a kid because darn… will watch some of this video though..!

This game is, honest to God, one of my favorite games from my childhood. I remember being obsessed with this for a good while and just fucking around in the "big" game-world. Watching Vinny play this is just SO good.
The mark at the top of his head makes me think of Snitter from Plague Dogs, with the stitches from brain surgery. I would say that makes the game creepy, but I don't think you can get creepier than the lady getting chopped into cat food.

Always kind of a surprise to see what smaller studios worked on before they did bigger games. I immediately thought RCT3 and Planet Coaster when I saw Frontier.
I also love how the intro animation got outsourced to an actual animation company and the rest just looks like wet dog shit. How fitting huh. (:
