    Agree 100% to Steve. I think when you start getting how options works, the stock market no longer a directional market (i.e. Up or Down) and more have to care of the volatility, the time decay, delta etc. This opens up a lot of new opportunities for different situations.

      @@sethfreudberg4750 Hi Seth, I love the option webinar you guys put out. It covers a lot of strategies. Although this might be a little advance, I want to better understand the concept of rolling in option. I think is a great concept, lets say NUGT, you can get a call option +200%,+300%. Then use the "profit" to roll out farther expiration and outer OTM. That leveraging power is great and also playing with houses money. BUT I always mess that up, I would like to know how SMB would play this.

      This is just superb, been searching for "options easy explanation" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Winoorfa Option Olegroson - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin got great success with it.

    Great video, would definitely be interested in some info on swing trading options. I think directional options are great for individuals with smaller a accounts, to be able to make decent returns. Look forward to hearing more from you guys. Thanks for all your help putting out these informative videos 👍

    Definitely agree that hiking up your next step in your training is to know about Options.Its another tool in your bag!. Managed well options can make you a shit load of money on less capital..but the word is understanding direction and management of the options.

      Yeah Options are great when markets get difficult for day traders, just another tool in the war chest! You are right, it's important to have a clear understanding of options to be successful

    Interesting perspective. I would like to know, what is a win rate % of a trader like Shark or Wang in equities? I mean what percentage of the time are they right?

    • @mbellafiore19
      @mbellafiore19 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on the trade they are making. home run trades have a lower win percentage.

    It always boils down to "the guys" :) . But I love the dedication of this company to their employees. What I love Bella the most for is that he does not need to instagram his ass on a private jet or lambo

      Actually, I have a very straightforward question and I would love to get an expert opinion. I want to buy AM $7.50 Sep 20 2019 calls, as my thesis is that AM put in a bottom last Wednesday, and the dividend return is stellar on this profitable company. I am contemplating purchasing 100 calls. Please evaluate and critique this potential trade.

    Would you consider Synthetic positions for your directional trades to get leverage on your trade while overcoming theta decay in a swing trade situation?

    • @sethfreudberg4750
      @sethfreudberg4750 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chong, why would you use a synthetic position when most likely the greatest leverage would simply be buying a long call or a long put?

    • @d4munche3z
      @d4munche3z 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sethfreudberg4750 Then my question is what would be your advice on thinking about theta decay? Should that be a significant consideration while making a directional trade?

    • @d4munche3z
      @d4munche3z 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sethfreudberg4750 My Initial thoughts for looking at synthetic positions were that 1 position maintains roughly 100% delta while getting leverage and also minimizing theta decay on a trade. I am thinking this can be useful in some situations

    • @sethfreudberg4750
      @sethfreudberg4750 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@d4munche3z Well Chong if you think about it, if you want 100% delta and no theta decay then you would simply want to buy the shares. What structure were you thinking about to establish the position synthetically?

    • @d4munche3z
      @d4munche3z 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sethfreudberg4750 On my ThinkorSwim platform the combination of a Buy call+ sell Put for a Synthetic Long allows me 100% delta - Minimal theta decay and a buying power of about 25% when compared to say buying 100 shares of an actual underlying. This is the leverage i was referring to. I am not sure what you may see on your professional brokerage end but I would imagine something similar would be in effect? I see this as a benefit because I use a quarter of my Buying Power to attain 100% delta.

    I'm surprised anybody at SMB has a bullish position on BYND. Oct 29th looks like a definite cliff.

      Traders are doing different trades with this opportunity. In stocks and in options. All with stops if the trade goes against them. There are traders with bearish plays. There are traders who are trading just momentum. Traders will get long if that is what the price action is dictating.
