girl damn what a packed reading month! i got the second book in crescent city so we'll see since i literally have no expectations. i will let you know my thoughts 👀
Read HOSAB in two days. I was literally walking around like just the shell of a person trying to process what the heck I just read and that LAST. FREAKING. LINE. If someone asked me, could I tell anything that happened in the book? No. Literally no clue. BUT it was a trip and I will definitely read the next one even if it’s just for the experience HAHAHAHAHAHA
I feel like SJM books are getting messier and more careless with each one. She's extremely rich and famous now and puts less and less effort. I think I'll be dropping them from now on.
I'm reading Crescent City right now and I bought the second book. And I agree with that tweet! 😂😂 I tried to read ahead on the book and like... How did she go from point A to point D in a span of a few chapters? lmao SJM is the type of author who if I think too hard about the plot of her books, I'll just hate it but if I just consume it without a thought in my brain, its the perfect read lol
I was just like you with House of Breath and Sky, I was literally screaming and like OMG you cannot end it with that. I hope she doesn't complicate even more by adding in that world but it would be fun to see some of those characters come back around.

as a scottish person living in edinburgh i just want to firstly say i love how much scotland content there was in this!! and also secondly your pronunciation of edinburgh is ALWAYS on point and it makes my heart just so happy ! thanks for another fab round up of books, a couple of these are on my tbr for sure now!
I felt the same way with Our Violent Ends! I appreciated that the stakes were way higher and that we got to see more of the inner workings of each family, but the scenes and settings changed so quickly that I felt disconnected. And personally, I was kind of disappointed with the ending. Not how it actually ended, but the writing of the final climax. In that moment, I wish we had spent more time actually in the scene with Juliette, Roma, and Dimitri as opposed to flitting between them, Kathleen, and Marshall and Ben and Alisa; I think actually staying in that scene longer would've made it more impactful. Because everything happened so quickly, I just kinda lost steam and wasn't emotionally invested...
I just read this comment, and YES! this book would have been so darn good if the pacing of the plot was far slower and similar to the first one. It changed so much compared to how she wrote in Our Violent Delights, and I was really disappointed. It turned out quite messy and overwhelming and I just went “What Is HAPPENING” while reading it. Really angry about this, because I wanted to love it SO much but it was sooooo upsetting. The only reason this one got a 4+ star for me was because of the ending, i re read it while playing sad music and actually bawled my eyes for 40 minutes…
It's so funny you mention "Anatomy, a Love Story" because one of my friends is currently translating this book for a German publisher and we spent a good chunk of yesterday evening talking about how to best go about certain stuff. :D ("Yolk" sounds excellent, putting it on my wishlist!)
just wanted to tell you that I binged the 10th Kingdom right after you posted your video on it and oh wow im OBSESSED 😍 with it now. Thank you for telling us about it !!!!
Hey Cari I just recently found your channel and since you’ve been raving so much about the Six of Crows duology, I decided to pick the two books up and read them. Cari you’re now responsible for ruining all my future reading experiences because I don’t think I’ll ever find a book that will come remotely close to the masterpiece that is the Crows duology.
Honestly, I feel like Outlander wraps up perfectly after the second book/season. After that, it gets really awful and even offensive in spots. I actually refuse to believe that anything after the 2nd book/season is canon. 😂 I also shouted “WTF” when finishing House of Sky and Breath… on the one hand, I’m thoroughly amused like I’m watching a bad TV show. On the other hand, I don’t see why that had to happen!! Ugh. February was a frustrating book month for me too. Fingers crossed that March is better!🤞
I've gone to see Diana Gabaldon speak before and she was super involved in the casting of the show and took forever choosing the right Claire and Jamie
This is the first video of yours I'm watching. You make the books sound so interesting and are so passionate about them. I paused the video midway to go to Amazon and get the Kindle versions of your Book of the Month reccos. ♡
I also read Yolk recently, and was really impressed by it. At first I was like "omg I know she has a complex and that's sad, but this lady is kind of annoying with the self-loathing" but by the end her journey from that point and reconnecting with her sister was so worth it and beautiful and realistic. It made me want to reach out to my little sister. I only rated it 4 stars, but I keep thinking about it, so maybe it deserves a higher rating.
I really liked Small Pleasures. The ending was really sad, but it was heavily foreshadowed at the very start with the article, so I knew it wasn't going to end happily just from that. I read it over a year ago and still think about it sometimes.
I rated Cresent City 2 two stars just because of the ending. I have never been so mad!! 800 pages for that? After two weeks of finishing it and i am still so mad. Loved this Video. Thank you, for making my day better💌
@@glaciergang yeah kind of. A specific person shows up, you could say without any spoilers. Still it's a weird and random ending. I was more mad than hooked for the next one :) hope that helped
I'm 70% in (never read a SJM book so slowly !) and I'm struggling... I'm happy to see I'm not the only one not liking it because I mostly see good reviews and I don't understand so far...
@@SissouLoveVideo The book could've been less than 400 pages. It started getting interesting in the last 150 pages. So long and complicated and honestly just unnecessary lol
My favourite februari read has to be the girl who fell beneath the sea by Axie Oh. It's based on a korean folklore story called the Tale of Shim Cheong and the vibes in this were so magical, I could see the story play out like a kdrama. Aside from the synopsis I didn't know much about it going into it but I thought the story was very beautifully written and it really touched my heart a couple of times (really it's just a story about the heart and this will make sense when you read it). I also love that it's a stand alone and it wraps itself up quite nicely. I would totally recommend!
Hi Cari! I discovered your channel about two months ago and I just wanted to say how much I love them! My TBR has never been longer and I just find your videos so calming. If I'm ever stressed, your videos are my go to just to step away for a little while. I am now also subscribed to your main channel and I just wanted to say thank you!
Hey! Awesome video, I really enjoyed hearing about your recent reads! As an autistic person myself I just wanted to let you know that the term Aspergers isn’t really used anymore, it’s all just referred to as autism or being on the autism spectrum 😊 Not a lot of people know much about autism or being neurodivergent so I always take the chance to educate if I’m able to ❤️ Also, we usually say neurodivergent and not neuroatypical! I’m super glad you mentioned it though, I definitely want to read The Maid now and see what I think about it ☺️
And the outlander books only get longer and longer… so thankful the narrator is one of the best in the business or I don’t know if I could have read them all. Yolk is one of those books that stays with you! I read it last year and still think about it! I really love Crescent City! Complicated yes, but I love everything and screamed at the end.
omg you got me to read gilded wolves and it was AMAZING but i don't have the other two books in the trilogy so now i have to buy them asap because the ending was just...💔😧😭 thank you for recommending but now i have to recover from the heartbreak lol
I got house of sky and breath weeks ago but I haven't been able to get into it because I don't remember anything at all 😂 I'm still on chapter 11! I was so confused reading the prologue.
Haha, it is comforting to me to see that others felt the same way! I thought it was just me feeling so confused. Like am I supposed to be following how the layout of this world works, remembering what all these races are, and all these characters? So confusing
i just want you to know that your videos bring me so much calm vibes 🥺 every time i get overwhelmed and i want to reset i put one of your videos on (both channels) thank you so much ❤❤❤
I screamed too at the end of HoSaB. I'm just like whaattt...it really does have so much stuff going on. I've been reading so much I finished HoSaB (I think was better than the 1st book, but not my fav Sarah J. Maas.), The King of Scars Duology (I think I liked this better than the other books other than the first Shadow and Bone), The Binding (omg so good), The Great Witch of Brittany by Louisa Morgan (4th book not my fav, interesting, but the covers of these books drew me in/kind of like Practical Magic sequels), The Iron Sword by Julie Kagawa (love this series). I've been reading the last few days The Whims of Fae series by Nissa Leder (on book 3, very easy reading) and reading Kingdom of the Wicked this month. Hoping to read the 2nd Kingdom of the Wicked book this month and just got Gallant in the mail Tuesday so looking forward to that book too.
Yo I just want to throw this down watching your videos are always like a major highlight to me and it just makes me super happy like I get so many really cool recommendations from you plus it's very very cool when you talk about Korea
It’s 5am here in France and I was having a panic attack, then I saw the notification about a new video. Thank God for your videos and thank God for you. 😌🥰
I read the first four books in the Outlander series and loved them. I don’t know how I got through them though. The first two were the best and they should have/ could have been shorter. I can’t continue with the series due to the length of the series and the length of the books. Some people still write like they’re getting paid by the word.
I just found your channel right and I really enjoyed your video. I like that it is longer than other booktuber videos and that you go into detail about each book without getting too spoilery.
such a fun age is so good !!! i listened to the audiobook and was completely enraptured. ive also had a bleh reading month so i feel so validated in this vid lmao
I listened to the Outlander books at 3x speed so didn't notice how long they were. I like how the books start out with the one couple but end up being about the entire family by the end (so far). You should watch the show. It's not a perfect adaptation but it does the job imo.
love watching your videos cari! i read this book a couple months back, and thought you might like it. its called Timekeeper, its like a victorian age book where clock towers control the world and when clock towers become broken, time stops in that town. Its a really good fantasy (w/ a little bit o romance) and i loved it so much (definitely look it up because i am really bad at summarizing) i loved the world and thought you would too :)
I’ve been so excited waiting for this to drop, but my TBR is probably nervously sweating right now 😂😂. Love your monthly wrap ups and your channel as a whole, Cari; it’s probably one of the main things getting me through the final year of my degree! ☺️💖💖
You’re totally right 😂 the crescent city series is a bit of a confusing mess (the second book especially), but I’m also SO invested and entertained - SJM has me hook, line, and sinker.
Your description of These Violent Delights was spot on for me as well - I also struggled to get into it because I didn’t feel like I “knew” the characters🙈
Sometimes I think about how 14 year old me (in 2014) had an idea for a story and it was just all supernatural beings you could imagine thrown into one world and yes, that also included angels. But as I got older I was like 'there are way too many characters omg it's too complicated to fit them into one story and give them all a personality' and I ended up scrapping all those thoughts at 16 to just start from scratch and think of another story concept. So knowing that 16yo me thought my own concept was too convoluted, I am absolutely baffled that SJM had a similar idea and went 'hey, you know what?? I can make a book series out of this! And I'll add so many characters!! And make each book 800 pages long!!!' It's actually crazy to me. I'm convinced the publishers don't even bother reviewing the actual story anymore because they know anything with her name on it will sell, no matter how long or complicated it is. Edit: I just got to the part where you explain that the series has aliens....It just went above and beyond anything 14yo me could even have the nerve to dream up
You can change the settings on your Kindle to be page number, location number, or time left. Took me almost a whole book to figure that out. Hope it helps!
i'm reading "tell me everything", since i got an eARC, and it's so good, even if the themes are quite heavy, the writing is really captivating ! i still have a little left but i totally recommend
CC2 pissed me off so much! I loved Earth and Blood but the second book just threw it all. All that drama in the beginning and for what? And how am I reading a completely different book and still get THOSE characters? I was so mad. I know a lot of people loved the twist but not me 🙅🏽♀️ Is the series not selling that much that's why SJM did that? I won't be anticipating CC3 now. I'll probably just wait for spoilers 😂 I can finally sleep peacefully now that I got that out of my chest 💀
i find the crescent city world to be so dense!! for both books, the first 200 pages are just me trying to get my bearings. and the ending left me reeling!! i'm still shocked by it
I felt the same way about Small Pleasures - when I finished it I was just frustrated! The ending was completely unnecessary, I probably would've overall given it a decent rating if it didn't end that way.
Hey Cari! I actually started reading the Maid and just couldn't get into it but after your review I might pick it up again :) Anatomy, a Love story sounds sooo good and I will 100% check it out! Love your monthly wrap ups :) Amazing video as always! 🥳
When I came to that last sentence I had to choke down a scream because a repair man was sitting right next to me and trying to fix my dishwasher and I didn't want to scare him but WOW.
I didn't like Crescent City very much but had to read House of Sky and Breath -- did lots of "fastforwarding" after the first adult situation...fae/adult situation, skipped entire conversations because they added nothing to plot progression. I didn't care a toss about what was happening in the story until Tharion's first proper plot point. And what about that ending? The very ending, last 20ish-pages ending? I have to know how that last line unfolds according to Sarah J. Maas's mind's eye. I friggin screamed at the very, very ending! Part shriek, part "ugh."
oh i DEFINITELY skimmed many a scene hahahha and the third book is going to be an absolute mess but she guaranteed a ton of people reading it just to figure out wtf is going to happen hahah
So I only read House of Earth and Blood because House of Sky and Breath was coming out. Anyway, I read them both in about a week and I had already read like all of Sarah's other books. And when I tell you, all of the theories my friend group came up with for the next books- They're almost as chaotic as Sarah's actual writing.
This is my first video watching you, and this might be a weird thing to say, but I have watched so many people pitch books (especially BOTM books) and I usually find it so hard to be immediately interested in a pitch but you just made every single book from BOTM sound like the most interesting book I could ever read
I actually read yolk in February as well and your review alone made me emotional again i just love that book so much and everything you said about the characters is so true especially as someone with sisters
Outlander series OMG love it! I saw the 5 seasons twice now and si excited for number 6. I'm reading hosab and it's not Bad so far. Great vídeo as always!
cari!! if you liked the medical aspect and ambience of anatomy you should definitely try "stalking jack the ripper". its a four book series set in london in 1800s as well i believe but the romance is slowish burn but super interesting and there is a plot twist that is very believable but i didnt expect at all
The reactions to the bad books is precious and priceless 😂 you remind me so much of my humorous frustrations when reading ridiculous and unnecessary scenes.
I think I kind of know how HOSAB ends bc it's so hard to avoid spoilers at the moment, I'm waiting for the paperback to come out so that I can finally read this 800-page train wreck 😄
I just finished the crescent city series back to back and I'm still REELING. It's not technically good, but it's so incredibly entertaining. I couldn't put it down and I'm chomping at the bit for the next book.
yay!!! you read Outlander. that series is everything, book and the show. i read up to book 6. though I am not really thinking about the next book lately, i will finish it eventually. ohhh, this just takes me back to the days when all I can think about was Jamie and Claire. Sam Heughan, woooo! yesss!!! ❤️
Ah... Small Pleasures. I was spoiled for that book a little while ago, and I am glad I was. The moment my friend told me the twist and the ending, without even reading it, I wanted to fly to wherever the author was and have a serious talk. If I have read it, I would have not only thrown this book into a wall, but possibly also burned it. On the other hand, I'm really glad to hear you liked Hamnet, it's been on my TBR list forever, I need to get to it!
omg the ending of anatomy a love story was SO BAD like the way you described it was so accurate. i read the pages in which the “plot twist” happened and i was just like ..??? so underwhelming and out of the blue
I've heard other booktubers say the same thing about Small Pleasures, I think Jack Edwards & Rick MacDonnell both were frustrated with the ending...have had it on my shelf and am now even more hesitant to read. Sorry you had a rough reading month...March has been that way for me so far-ugh. I picked The Cartographers too, so I'm hoping it is a good one!!
Hello Cari, could you do a video about thriller and mystery YA/NA books? I just read the first book of the inheritance game and really enjoyed it, but I’m totally new to this genre. Thank you 🥰
Hey Cari, when you were talking about your Kindle sometimes showing pages and sometimes something else, have you maybe tried clicking on the bottom left corner to change it manually? That always seems to work for me :3 As always, thank you for the book recommendations!! (/book warnings lol :,))
I have the Paris Apartment and Mexican Gothic on the way from BOTM. I am hopeful they arrive quicker than in the past. Some deliveries take 2 months to arrive.
I read a twisted tree by Rachel Burge, i loved the norse mythology representation and the main character i sympathised with due to her partial blindness, however the very sudden romance through me off. The ending i enjoyed yet didnt love it as it makes you wish for a sequel to answer the cliff hanger the author left us with. If you want to read it, i do recommened but be ready for some unnecessary romance.
I read hoeab and liked it (it dragged but the ending was a ride so it was worth it) and now I'm reading hosab and I think it might suffer from a middle book syndrome imo. Still enjoying it much more than acotar (which I'm halfway through book 1 and suffering). CC truly is like a cw show in book form as someone else mentioned
With kindle on my phone if I tap on the location/page number thing I can change it. It also estimates my reading speed and usually have it on that. Idk if it's the same on the ipad though
Just wanted to tell you that I read To Kill a Kingdom in February because I needed a quick fantasy read and I remembered you were raving about it in a video. And it was really nice! Thanks Cari 🥰✨ I also read Daughter of the Moon Goddess, which I gave five stars to. Are you planning on reading it by any chance?
I am going to hold off on HOSAB until the next book cause I heard bad things about the ending. I loved Cresent City. You should read Six Crimson Cranes and Ray Bearer
Cari, have you read Mary H.K Choi’s debut Permanent Record? It’s my absolute favourite of hers and a book I think about almost daily. If you liked Yolk I think you’ll like it.
Ok so your book choices are not my cup of tea,BUT I just love hearing you speak,it almost feels like a friend ranting, especially if I have a cup of coffee by my side, sending good vibes your way as always 🤗 Ps. I LOVEEEE Outlander books and tv show

I rated Cresent City 2 two stars just because of the ending. I have never been so mad!! 800 pages for that? After two weeks of finishing it and i am still so mad. Loved this Video. Thank you, for making my day better💌
i was HOOOOOWLING hahahhaha she really did that to us hahahaha
Is it because its a cliff hanger? I wanted to read but not sure now
@@glaciergang yeah kind of.
Lol Sam Heughan as Jamie is definitely the best thing about that show 👌
Hi Cari! I discovered your channel about two months ago and I just wanted to say how much I love them! My TBR has never been longer and I just find your videos so calming. If I'm ever stressed, your videos are my go to just to step away for a little while. I am now also subscribed to your main channel and I just wanted to say thank you!
thank YOU!!!
The Paris Apartment had SO MUCH potential, but was so bad 😬
omg you got me to read gilded wolves and it was AMAZING but i don't have the other two books in the trilogy so now i have to buy them asap because the ending was just...💔😧😭
thank you for recommending but now i have to recover from the heartbreak lol
omg ahhhhhh the pain!!!!
I got house of sky and breath weeks ago but I haven't been able to get into it because I don't remember anything at all 😂 I'm still on chapter 11! I was so confused reading the prologue.
yeah its an absolute mess even WITH rereading the first book hahahahaa
Same here 😅I’m sooo confuse right now .
@@MCtwice12 you and me both 🤷🏻♀️
Haha, it is comforting to me to see that others felt the same way! I thought it was just me feeling so confused. Like am I supposed to be following how the layout of this world works, remembering what all these races are, and all these characters? So confusing
i just want you to know that your videos bring me so much calm vibes 🥺 every time i get overwhelmed and i want to reset i put one of your videos on (both channels) thank you so much ❤❤❤
omg thank YOU so much :''')
Hoping to read the 2nd Kingdom of the Wicked book this month and just got Gallant in the mail Tuesday so looking forward to that book too.
im waiting for gallant too ahhh!! and im so glad you liked the binding!!!
RANT CARI IS HERE!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!
the unnecessary pain this month....
you can change wether location or page is shown by tapping that corner of the kindle til you get the one you want
hoping march would be better 😵💫 i get so giddy every time you upload your monthly wrap ups 🤩💝
I read the first four books in the Outlander series and loved them. I don’t know how I got through them though. The first two were the best and they should have/ could have been shorter. I can’t continue with the series due to the length of the series and the length of the books. Some people still write like they’re getting paid by the word.
i've heard a lot of people say that so before i get in too deep im going to stop and just watch the show hahah
I just found your channel right and I really enjoyed your video. I like that it is longer than other booktuber videos and that you go into detail about each book without getting too spoilery.
such a fun age is so good !!! i listened to the audiobook and was completely enraptured. ive also had a bleh reading month so i feel so validated in this vid lmao
i think i read it in one day! couldnt put it down!
SO happy you loved yolk, i feel like no one talks about it and it's so dear to me ㅠ
I’ve been so excited waiting for this to drop, but my TBR is probably nervously sweating right now 😂😂. Love your monthly wrap ups and your channel as a whole, Cari; it’s probably one of the main things getting me through the final year of my degree! ☺️💖💖
I love that your cup says "awa" Wich is a cute way to write water in Spanish 💜💜💜
Cute!!! Its from the “accidental wes anderson” exhibit hence awa ☺️☺️☺️
I feel like we all had a terrible reading month. Can’t remember the last time I read so few books
You’re totally right 😂 the crescent city series is a bit of a confusing mess (the second book especially), but I’m also SO invested and entertained - SJM has me hook, line, and sinker.
My biggest flex is that I own and have read all of the Outlander books to date, in less than a year. 💅 It's my favorite series!
Hope it helps!
i'm reading "tell me everything", since i got an eARC, and it's so good, even if the themes are quite heavy, the writing is really captivating ! i still have a little left but i totally recommend
definitely going to give it a try!
I don't know if someone mentioned this already but if you click on your kindle where it says location, you can switch it to show pages. :)
I'll probably just wait for spoilers 😂
I can finally sleep peacefully now that I got that out of my chest 💀
i thought the second book was okay compared to the first but yeah, talk about a MESS hahahha
i find the crescent city world to be so dense!! for both books, the first 200 pages are just me trying to get my bearings. and the ending left me reeling!! i'm still shocked by it
I felt the same way about Small Pleasures - when I finished it I was just frustrated! The ending was completely unnecessary, I probably would've overall given it a decent rating if it didn't end that way.
truly out of left field (unless you could the little intro article thing) and UNNECESSARY!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was having a dull day then I saw the notification that you uploaded a new video and thought not so dull after allT-T 💗
loved this video! as always so excited to see what you read this month!
thank youuuu!
I was just about to go to sleep and then this pops up
I guess sleep can wait 👀
Same bro, priorities, am I right? Lol
:'''')
If you tap the bottom over the location on you kindle you can change what displays I think…? Mine does anyway!
Thank you for the book recommendations! Love your video 😊 can’t wait to see your next reading wrap-up! ❤️
This is my first video watching you, and this might be a weird thing to say, but I have watched so many people pitch books (especially BOTM books) and I usually find it so hard to be immediately interested in a pitch but you just made every single book from BOTM sound like the most interesting book I could ever read
cari's reading wrap ups give me ✨serotonin✨
I've had Hamnet on my shelf for a while to read. I'm also interested in The Maid. I've been hearing great things about it. Thx for the vid 🙂
I needed this video like right now✨
😍😍😍
@@caricanread ✨😘
when I saw you pull out the cartographers let me tell you I was so jealous! I have it preordered because the book of m is one of my favorite books!
Such a Fun Age also surprised me! I just made a video about the book, but love calling it "battle of the wokest", such an accurate description.
I think I kind of know how HOSAB ends bc it's so hard to avoid spoilers at the moment, I'm waiting for the paperback to come out so that I can finally read this 800-page train wreck 😄
There are some amazing plot twists in the second Outlander book. Just saying. 😉
hahahah im going to have to watch them in the show!
The scream I scrumpt at the last line of House of Sky and Breath lol.....
I just finished the crescent city series back to back and I'm still REELING. It's not technically good, but it's so incredibly entertaining. I couldn't put it down and I'm chomping at the bit for the next book.
I am confused because when did Hamlet grieve for his own son? Hamlet's grief was for his father.
youre thinking on hamlet - i am talking about hamnet. if you listen to the video i talk about how this is the story of shakespeares son
yay!!! you read Outlander. that series is everything, book and the show. i read up to book 6. though I am not really thinking about the next book lately, i will finish it eventually. ohhh, this just takes me back to the days when all I can think about was Jamie and Claire. Sam Heughan, woooo! yesss!!! ❤️
the way you talked about the maid (asmr bit) reminded me of convenience store woman!!! if you haven't read it i would reccommend
TRULY do not understand why the book exists hahahha
omg the ending of anatomy a love story was SO BAD like the way you described it was so accurate. i read the pages in which the “plot twist” happened and i was just like ..??? so underwhelming and out of the blue
Currently rereading a middle grade novel. And Im feeling soo nostalgic it's unreal.
yay!!
@@caricanread ikr✨
literally the way Cresent City should've been a standalone.
I appreciate the tile and author on screen👍♥️🤗, The search for cadavers, that's how " burking" came about..
Idk if it's the same on the ipad though
i'll check next time! usually i just dont care cause if i like a book i'll finish it but MAN that book went on forever hahahaa
@cari can read it's been on my tbr forever but it's so huge it's intimidating. I'm not ready to commit to a series with books that big
Just wanted to tell you that I read To Kill a Kingdom in February because I needed a quick fantasy read and I remembered you were raving about it in a video. And it was really nice! Thanks Cari 🥰✨ I also read Daughter of the Moon Goddess, which I gave five stars to. Are you planning on reading it by any chance?
yay!! im so glad you liked it! and i've heard great things about that book!
I am going to hold off on HOSAB until the next book cause I heard bad things about the ending. I loved Cresent City. You should read Six Crimson Cranes and Ray Bearer
Thats a good idea 😂🙏
Cari, have you read Mary H.K Choi’s debut Permanent Record? It’s my absolute favourite of hers and a book I think about almost daily. If you liked Yolk I think you’ll like it.
i havent but im ready to read everything she's every written hahhaha
Do iiittttttttt
Ok so your book choices are not my cup of tea,BUT I just love hearing you speak,it almost feels like a friend ranting, especially if I have a cup of coffee by my side, sending good vibes your way as always 🤗
Ps. I LOVEEEE Outlander books and tv show
