Congratulations France. Our history and our European values are shown in various pieces and parts. This in the City of Light, in a beautiful setting. As a Belgian, I say it’s the most beautiful city in the world. We don’t need to be ashamed but proud to be European. From the Greeks, inventors of democracy, justice, etc., the Roman Empire, then into the darkness with its persecutions, executions, tortures in the name of God. Religious wars, the Reformation, etc. We slowly emerged during the Renaissance through reclaimed literature, culture, and expression, pulling ourselves out of the swamp of those with their moral fingers. Through the Enlightenment, where great thinkers pondered how we could create a better world. It inspired us. We had the French Revolution, where the separation of powers was realized, but also the separation of church and state. Too much to mention. Freedom,Brotherhood, Equality, . All messages we stand for in Europe. With an open mind and spirit, ready to make progress and learn from our past. Green Challenges for the future aware we lend our planet from next generations and finally annimal rights. Ones they shall say...the had to kill annimals for meat. Now we print it. We also have high-level education for both the poor and the rich. This is important, of course, with such a rich history. No, no, no, we are not going back to the period where the church determined how to live. We have suffered enough. But we will fight for them if they are no longer allowed to believe, that yes. All in all thought it was pretty fantastic. The light show on the Eiffel Tower was mind blowing. Celine nailed it. Unfortunate that so many were upset by parts. I really didn't take offense by any of it really, but I know many did.
