I went the k27 on my 92 1st gen VE pumped intercooled in my Fummins and it has around 280 is hp no slouch but not after a pro mod drag vehicle either so good results for me .
Borg Warner 177272 found on a John Deere 8.1. 60x83.5mm comp wheel. 76x68mm turbine with an AGP Turbo 12cm dual gated turbine housing is a super kickass turbo. 8mm turbine shaft with no neck down like the HX351.
@@truckcampertraveler7369 my truck is still on stock injectors and HX35. I tow a horse trailer weekly, maybe 8k pounds. And LOTS of hills around here.. I want more power, but need to keep EGTs cool.
@@Thanosisnotreal if your turbo still in good condition, I will just swap out the injectors to 5 x 12 and I would change out the delivery valves .55 and do a afc live and a bhaf
👍👍do twins make a small single spool better ,??... I thought they only spooled ,as a pair ,as well as the small charger could... I'd like to pair something to the HE351(60/67) I have on my 97.. I'd like to try a K27 as well...may perhaps do that on my 02... Or I might try a stock he351 cause it isn't overly fueled..but anyway, 👍,thank you for another video 👊
You want to small turbo to spool low rpm and the bigger turbo to take over high rpm. Is the simple way to explain it. But it’s bit more complicated then that. I will get into more later
I have a 98 12v..Is this a good turbo for a stock truck with 4in exhaust? I’d eventually plan on doing 4K GSK and 60# valve springs. Just want to see if that’s something I’d need to do right away or if I could run the k27 on stock set up. Thanks again!
Hmm I may need to replace my stock turbo at some point . I need to replace the stock manifold before it srinks and brakes something. Really appreciate the videos . I have another question. What is your thought on a fluid damper .. it's probably not realistic but I been told that thr noise from gear roll over on a g56 is caused from removing the dual mass flywheel and going to a single mass . So I was wondering if a fluid damper would make any difference. Probably not but I was wondering
If your on stock fuelling still that might be on the boost it will make Also should do a boost leak test on it see if you haven’t done one. If you have no boost add some fuel and see how it works
K27 and 369 or 471. That's my experience for my tow rig dependent on fuel. Keep it coming man

You can do a k27 on a stock setup. But myself I would keep the hx35 till you want a power upgrade and put a bit better turbo on

it doesn't hurt the have a balancer, but i am not sure it would help
Hello. I installed the k27 in my 12v but I can't get over 22psi boost. I've adjusted the waste gate same as you. Did you have to adjust it more?
