You must grind everything you can: the krypt, towers of time, character towers, AI matches. story mode, kombat league, krypt events and some you must but with real money.

You just need some files to put into the game, then you launch the unlocker and do what must be done. It's pretty simple, actually, and the unlocker does a great job. It only works on PC, Steam.
