These change (alllll the time) but to give you a reference on my measurements since we are sewing: I am 5’5” and my measurements are as follows, upper bust 44”, full bust 45.5”, waist 39”, hip 46.5”

Thanks for all the work you did to put this together. It would be helpful if you left the images up longer so we can look at them while you talk about them. Sometimes I notice one aspect but then you talk about something else and the picture is gone. Just a suggestion for the ongoing improvement of your channel.

There are lots of videos on this series for sure need to work on the high end designers again. Did you get a chance to see the new Vogue Patterns? They were released today…. one looks like Carry Bradshaw’s Oscar de la Renta hot pink dress.

I use dead stock designer fabric, that way I get a fabulous designer with gorgeous fabric.
Currently making V1782 and the instructions for 1st page was misprinted because they don't match the pattern pieces I have. Does anyone have any suggestions on finding the true instructions. I have already tried calling the Vogue hotline
Vogue would have mailed you a new set of instructions. I’ve had this happen to me. You can also try emailing them thru their contact page and I assure you they will mail them to you

I need to find fabric for it first!!!! But its definitely one I will make. Most likely in a dark denim like the original … did you see the original also has welt pockets? yeah we are so adding those in!

What patterns do you have hanging on the wall?
M7973 (still thinking about fabric on this one) and M6696 which I’m about to start working in with a 4 ounce dark indigo stretch denim.

@@charity.cunningham8313 Tried updating the video with longer pictures and TH-cam said no go! If I do that I have to completely delete the video. So will write a blog post on it so everyone can reference it with links.
Many of the patterns issued this season have closed necklines. I’m short, short waisted and large bust. I’m tired of modifying necklines to give me a v-neck.
This is why I don’t wear double breasted coats or jackets and like you I’m always looking for v necks or altering the patterns to make them into v necks. There are a few patterns in this video with v necks pick one, make a muslin and see if you like the fit. Then cut into your good fabric. There is another pattern inspired by Dior but it’s a turtleneck with big sleeves, I love the dress but I just know it’s not going to be flattering on me.
