Take a ride along by the river Arun and Littlehampton sea front - Pass the Oyster pond and Harbour Park amusements. Postcodes BN17 5BA, BN17 5LW, BN17 5LP
Windy day! Before the harbour wall was raised and landscaped. You caught the old car (1930's Austin 7?) coming out of the side road that used to park outside the first house opposite the Harbour Office. That house had (has) an artificial dog on the front bay roof. It used to be laying looking at a nude female mannekin in the upstairs bay window. Littlehampton has spent a fair bit of money in recent years, the sea wall, the pedestrianised shopping area new paving with trees, longest bench, beach buildings, mewsbrook park improvement. Now plans to improve the area between the promenade and the Banjo Road/Harvester. Not really much more of a dump than most SE and S seaside towns. Actually beating the odds and improving. You want a dump? Try poor neglected Dover.
Havester is gone now mate, plus the wave was a fairly good improvement despite the destruction of the old woodland trail behind the old pool and sports dome.
@@skaptikl Harvester had a catastrophic fire. In recent weeks the remains have been demolished and the word from Harvester is that it'll be back, rebuilt bigger and better.
Don't take the mic out of Bognor cause I live there.... Actually- it is rather scummy... Carry on!
Bognor's OK, but you preferably need to speak an eastern european language to feel integrated now, 11 years on from Nancy's comment.
Coincidence, I was just around there a few days ago and this comes up as a suggestion!

I used to live above Oscars
