I bought this car one month back. I would say that they have changed and made the steering better in this current refresh compared to 2017. There is a lot more road feedback now. And steering returns to centre very nicely. However i dont like the clutch too much right now. It is too grabby. Maybe because car is new and only 1st service is complete. Edit: clutch is fine now after using it for 3000km. Service guys said i was too gentle so it wasn't bedding in lol

Watched 27:09 mins to find out on 2 queries that I thought you would cover, 1) I have the last model of the Swift and one thing I observed is that the body of the car is not so strong. Even minor scratches can tear the body. I heard they have increased the weight of the new Swift, did you find any difference in the overall strength of the body? 2) And about the new engine function where it automatically stops running if you are in traffic etc. I thought you would explain that feature too! yes your feeling is correct, swift is a tin can, zero protection. air bags alone will not save you unless the car has a strong body. I feel happy i bought a Nexon.
Compared to i10 and i20 1.2 petrol: this is a better engine it has better pickup and mileage (i10 / i20 engine is underpowered Gagan also felt that) but Build quality and interiors wise i10/i20 is better for safety i10 and swift both are 2*s in NCAP not sure about i20
Well put. Swift has a better Petrol Engine than Tiago, Altroz (non turbo), i10, i20 (non turbo). Build quality almost same as that of i20 and i10. So for better build quality/safety go for tata, for better features go for Hyundai, for better engine and peace of mind go for swift.

Swift happens to be one of the beautiful looking car in the country right now.. Swift need a EV version with a min 300km range, will do wonders. but this car needs some reinforcement on its chassis, well it also happens to be one of the most unsafe cars in the country as well.

Hyundai is growing leaps and bounds with polarizing designs, multiple engine options, transmission options and so many features like wireless charging and air purifier. Swift still misses out on basic features like rear AC vents, cooled glovebox, handrest. Hyundai new i20 and Grand i10 Nios will eat into Swift sales this year.
it won't. because swift will always give a better mileage. its 2023 and swift always sells 15K+ units per month meanwhile i10 nios is always under 10k or sometimes even 5-7k
