- Namaste, I recently drove all new Maruti Suzuki Swift 4th gen in both Manual and AGS options. During the drive I posted on Instagram asking you guys yo send me your questions if you have any about the Swift. Here is a video where I chose few important and most asked questions.

I am owner of 2nd Generation swift VDI. Yesterday I took a test drive of new swift. I really liked this car. Only problem is VXi and vxi(o) price seems unreasonable to me. Otherwise I don’t have any complaints. If it gets good crash test then It is good for highway driving. Otherwise best car for city drive. I don’t get fuss about 3 cylinder engine it’s suzuki engineering and it is much better than my father’s tiago nrg (we bought last year).

I have an old Swift 2018 model. I have a significant concern regarding the Swift. Whenever I exceed 80 km/h, the car feels very light like Fad fad krti hai . Even a slight gust of wind can be felt on highways. Nobody seems to be talking about this. Perhaps the influencers have not driven it for a longer period. What if it will carry forward the legacy of the old one..?
Suspensions check krvao. Tyre alingment and balancing krvao.. koi mechanical problem h. 5 saal se purane tyres h to change krva lo..

Today i took test drive of new swift .Refinement which was every good in the previous generation is lost .But performance is still every good .I think they have improved front doors because 3rd gen swift door was not able to shut with normal pressure but this one closes . Stability of the new swift is also every good but stearing feel is still like 3rd generation swift
Yes you have to literally ram the doors in my swift 2023 because they have compartmentized the cabin to create vaccum like conditions.
My car can easily climb uphill in cng on 2nd and then 3rd gear, did you do this test?
Also, i already feel my car is oversized, but did you feel that field of vision using orvm and irvm has improved? I'm asking this because in my car, the field of vision is bad because of size of mirrors.
One more thing I'm upset abkut is the size of a, B and c pillars. It creates a lot of blindspots.

The twin cylinder is not safe in Tata. I have swift cng 2023 and maruti has mentioned very clearly that placing any solid objects can dent the cylinder and cause explosion or leak.
In Tata, they have placed a stupid cardboard kind of cover and if there is sudden breaking or you go over a pothole at higher speeds, there is a very good chance of protruding that cardboard especially if you have kept heavy luggage. This is basic cng safety brother.
Instead, maruti should provide a detachable top luggage carrier for cng vehicles.

This is best looking swift IMO. Looks compact and purposeful. I wish they had finished rear better, maybe added a false diffuser. Light color interior options and better materials would have been better.

Just visited showroom yesterday to see new swift and sorry to say space in second row has been reduced considerably specially knee room myself being 6’3” and owning the last gen 2018 model swift I can’t under what Suzuki was thinking.

Go for good Led manufacturers like Osram or Philips but Car modification Shops simply suggest heavy Chinese lights like 250w for insane lighting.. it's your choice but we should make sure to drive on low beams in city...
People say if installation is coupler to coupler warranty doesn't voids but I'd say if you need to claim warranty any day just install old bulbs before going to service centre coz company can deny warranty they have thousands of ways 😂

I think people r exagerrating abt Swift's performance deficit. Swift was never a hot hatch but a fun hatch which still retains its trademark handling/stability except the high revving engine. If people remember MSIL had decreased the performance of the K12M in mild facelift of 2nd gen Swift ( with optional Sportier bodykit ) with claimed improvement in low down torque over top end which later negated in 3rd gen Swift owing 2 retune & lower kerb weight which was further improved in K12N (Dual injector) version of mild facelift of 3rd gen. It might have lost its top end a bit & creamy nature owing to losing a cylinder but it still retains its core DNA. So it will still sell well inspite of all hullabaloo. No one made so much of hue & cry when all of the other cars in d segment & above are 3 cylinders & are dead last when it comes to refinement levels. So Swift doesn't deserve this hate.

Baleno aur Swift mein buidl pe kuch difference hai kya? ye maruti walo ne ab confusion hi confusion kar diya. matlab ek aadmi ko 8-9 lacs mein swift, baleno, fronx ignis, aur thoda price stretch kareein to Brezza bhi test karna padega. confusion hi confusion.
Suzuki japanese comes with suzuki tect body for 4 star rating whereas indian swift only comes with heartect platform .It will score 2 or 3 stars.

I have a question regarding seat covers...kya lagana chahiye specially on driver seat ( 2 airbag cars ). I know usse comfort bhi kam ho jata h fabric seat k mukable but yeh bhi dar lagta h seat bhi jaldi kharab ho jaye gi pasine se without covers.

Agar gadi new hai to 3,4 saal tk without seat covers use kijiye,uske baad lgwa Lena ,vaise seats kharab nhi hoti agar pani se nhla bhi denge to, private cleaning companies new bna deti hn saaf kr ke..qki company kabhi seat covers ke liye nhi khti,vo to showroom wale bechte hn use.haan agar ventilated seats hn to Mt hi lgwao,ya seat me airbags hn to bhi Mt lgwao

In my swift cng 2023 vxi, I'm getting petrol mileage of 23 kmpl in city with medium footed acceleration.
On cng I've got the highest on highways at 34.5 to 39.9 km per kg! No I'm not bluffing, I've double and triple checked the numbers. In simple words, I spent less than 1000 bucks to travel 500 kms on NH 4.
In city, cng mileage is 27-31 km per kg.
I don't understand when maruti had such a beautiful 4 cylinder masterstroke engine, why spend 1500 crores to downgrade it to 3 and give almost the same mileage?!
I think as gagan said emissions, but government's heavy taxation is the real cause. Maruti is downgrading year on year. My alto 800 2014 was such a treat to drive compared to the new car!

Very disappointing Car. When the Car had a good engine with good mileage what is the need for change. Only 3 cylinder, No Hybrid. High Price, Headroom is less for backseat, uncomfortable for 3 people in backseat. Less Power mean no fun to drive in highway and hills?
