You can also use it as a welding transformer or welding machine.
total weight of the transformer 40 Kg. Approx.

1. Silicon steel shell type core no- S9 ( Core Quantity 36 Kg.).
2. Primary wire 10no. (3.251mm) DCC Wire 1.6 Kg. (Double Cotton Covered Aluminium Wires)
3. Secondary wire 2no. (7.010mm) DCC Wire 1.4 Kg. (Double Cotton Covered Aluminium Wires)
4. Hard paper, Layer Paper, Insulating Varnish, Cotton Tape, etc.
5. 1.5 inch angle.

This is pure 100 ampere transformer.
I think it's more than 100 amp use a clamp meter to measure the current i m sure it isn't 100 amps its almost 220 amps according to me

But, not everything is done correctly.
1. The winding wire is aluminum, and the bolts are copper. Copper and aluminum are incompatible galvanically. According to the Rules of electrical installations, direct contact of aluminum with copper is prohibited: it provokes strong oxidation at the junction, which increases the resistivity of the contact, the wiring gets very hot and burns.
2. An isolation must be made between the magnetic circuit (transformer core) and the mounting. It is necessary to make a paper gasket between the transformer core and the steel housing. It is even necessary to insulate the studs (which pass through the transformer iron) with a thin layer of insulation.
This is done necessarily, because if this is not done, then the whole metal is galvanically connected and works as one. This creates unnecessary parasitic leads and losses of up to 10-15% occur in the transformer and it heats up much faster and stronger. Its efficiency is falling.
3. Well, the ratio is not the most optimal.
And of course, if there is such a possibility, it is better to wind the welding transformer with a rectangular section tire. This is the best option.

Но, не всё сделано правильно.
1. Провод обмотки алюминиевый, а болты медные. Медь и алюминий несовместимы гальванически. Согласно Правилам устройства электроустановок, прямое соприкосновение алюминия с медью запрещено: оно провоцирует сильное окисление в месте стыка, из-за чего растет удельное сопротивление контакта, проводка сильно нагревается и обгорает.
2. Обязательно должна быть сделана развязка между магнитопроводом (сердечником трансформатора) и креплением. Нужно делать прокладку из бумаги, между сердечником трансформатора и стальным корпусом. Нужно даже изолировать шпильки (которые проходят насквозь через трансформаторное железо) тонким слоем изоляции.
Это делается обязательно, потому что, если этого не сделать, то весь металл гальванически связан и работает как одно целое. Этим создаются лишние паразитные наводки и у трансформатора происходят потери до 10-15% и он намного быстрее и сильнее греется. Падает его КПД.
3. Ну и соотношение подобрано не самое оптимальное.
Ну и конечно, если есть такая возможность, сварочный трансформатор лучше мотать шиной прямоугольного сечения. Это самый оптимальный вариант.
