  • Celebrate the passion and depth of the Pokémon Trading Card Game community with “How Do You Play” a new three-part documentary series that focuses on three unique stories from the Pokémon TCG fandom.
Throughout the episodes, you’ll meet a teacher who discovered a way to bond with her students through the Pokémon TCG, a longtime Pokémon fan who turned his childhood love for the Pokémon TCG into a profession and a way to give back to a new generation of Trainers, and a family that has found connection and competition as they support their son and his dream of taking part in the Pokémon World Championships. Each episode helps demonstrate that the Pokémon TCG community is a place where anyone and everyone can play as they want.

Pokemon, I really really like these videos. I was born in 1990 and seeing Pokemon continue to bring the same joy to the youth of the world is a great feeling. These stories are so heartwarming.

I was born 92. I was seven years old when I got introduced to Pokémon, but it wasn't through the games. It was actually through the anime that I got introduced to Pokémon. I remember when my classmates were playing either Pokémon Red and Blue, I was always watching them play. I used to have Pokémon cards as well. I got back into Pokémon during High School when Heart Gold and Soul Silver were released and I bought myself an DSi and Pokemon Soul Silver and since then I've been playing and collecting Pokémon.
Pokémon, thank you for being a part of my childhood.

As someone with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) there are many methods that are explained in communicating which have been done so elegantly within this video. I could relate to Emery and his family in many ways and I am proud of the production that has been made here for many reasons.
Wishing Emery the very best of luck on his journey, much love to the family for being so understanding, open minded and supportive GO TEAM EMERY

I'm 31 years old and I'm pretty shy and have always had a hard time meeting people. I've always played the pokemon video games and I played other TCG games throughout my life so just over a year ago I started collecting pokemon cards and then soon after found a local group that plays every week. Now I'm out socializing every week and participating in tournaments and even winning some. Pokemon TCG helped me gain more confidence in myself and improve my social skills, life changing

THIS is the side of Pokemon TCG that needs more highlighting, in my opinion. Not the drama. Not the conflict. Children in this game have the right mindset. Us Master Division players need to recognize.
