    I have a 2024 Taos SE in FWD I'm 6ft3 and it is very comfortable with room to spare, I love it. It handles great ,easy to drive, responsiveness is great and plenty of power. Highly recommend this vehicle.

    Just got the 2023 SE Taos FWD version, with all the bells and whistles. It's hands-down the best driving compact SUV, and I test drove almost all of them. Still learning my way around all the available controls, but this thing almost drives itself with the adaptive cruise control and lane assist. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase, and this video nails the confidence-inspiring feel of the car.

    A little odd that in todays suv market we still aren’t getting an automatic lift gate!! That should be standard in my opinion

    Sat in one last week. I'm 6'3" and the SE's seats fit me perfectly. The seat cushion is about an inch or an inch and a half longer than any other compact crossover I looked at and with the 8-way power adjustment (not counting lumbar) I had plenty of legroom and thigh support. Plus my right knee wasn't resting against the center console - pretty rare for me in most any midsize to smaller vehicle. The steering wheel also had a good telescoping range. In other words, I could get totally comfortable. If you're taller, check it out. I'm test driving both the FWD and AWD this week.

    I do like the fact that you touched on road and wind noise. I did test drive a Taos SE and wind noise was pretty close to naught. Road noise, at interstate speeds was there, but not bad. With the radio on, you really don't notice it. I will say the same holds true for my 2020 Jetta SEL premium. The ride of the Taos is much better than my Jetta. The top of the line trim isn't for me. While I do like my onboard nav with my Jetta, I don't need the AWD where I live and no reason to spend the extra thousands. Goggle maps from my Android will serve just as well. I do like the choice of the French Roast seats in the SEL trim, but again, not worth the thousands spent getting there.

    Hi. We recently had our SE 4motion. Its suppose to have BLIND SPOT standard right? Mine did not come with it for some reason. Did anyone have issues with this?

    • @toiyeunguojtoiyeu
      @toiyeunguojtoiyeu 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They have a shortage of chips or something, so that is no longer a thing. I was concerned about that too, so I decided to go to the dealer and see, turn out they only have it on their top trim model (still an SE but has more options) the standard SE don't have them anymore. I got mine for 33k 4WD and with Blind Spot Monitor.

      Yes. It has to be connected with a USB C cable to one of the ports above the wireless charging port initially for the car to recognize and connect to the phone. After that, pressing the App button will run navigation from your phone on the large screen.

    I was hoping the 2023 model would lose the gloss black plastic on the front bumper, after a summer (bugs) and winter in Wisconsin it's going to be one big eye sore. Not in need of a new vehicle so maybe in 2024.

    Are you going to tell potential or existing customers about the chronic head gasket leak on the new 1.5 engine? The engine is consuming anti freeze which is a death sentence for the engine. VW has no answer. Is not fixing any here in Canada due to no parts or they need to redesign the gaskets etc. Either way, ask the dealer before purchase.
