    Okay I’m not even done watching but I just have to say as a mom of 5 (i know you know this but hear it from me) forget the outside world and what they say. Breastfed, bottle fed… as long as she is fed is what’s best. You don’t owe anyone any explanation. You are her mom and YOU know what’s best for her. You look absolutely beautiful and my heart melted at your expression when you heard her cry. I LOVE this chapter for you!! I am so thrilled for you, you’re doing so amazing and it’s okay if the house is a wreck… it won’t be that way forever. It’s only temporary so try not to stress it. Lots of love and hugs from a long time subscriber not so far away in Rochester❤❤❤ it’s so nice to see your face again! Also take a break from IG if it’s at all triggering your mental and emotional health. It’s not even the real world. xo

    As the mother of 3 grown daughters- you listen to me. You are doing fricken great. Even though it’s hard to know now- enjoy every single step of this journey, because I promise you will miss it. I would give anything to hold my little babies again or to just sit and look into their eyes while they drink their bottle( yes, I said BOTTLES 😉) Don’t sweat the small stuff, try and find some time for YOU, and don’t be afraid to ask for help! Best wishes, and sending lots of love to you and your little fam! ❤

      I don’t even understand why that is a thing. The food is right there just go eat. Just like going to the bathroom. Go to the bathroom! Go take a shower! The only thing I can understand is the not being able to sleep as much as you want but other than that. Just go do the things you need to do. It’s not that serious.

    • @monikamarciniak8166
      @monikamarciniak8166 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      It’s really not that complicated to understand. You have no time to grocery shop, cook, do dishes and eat because your baby wants to be held nonstop/cries/what’s attention. Sometimes getting a two minute shower in is a struggle. I remember being in the postpartum phase and not having time to eat all day starving. Either a) you never had a baby b) your baby napped great independently during the day c) you had lots of support and help. Either way that’s not the case for all of us so save the negative comments and f* off

    • @anitathompson326
      @anitathompson326 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@monikamarciniak8166 I’ve had 4 babies but thanks. And telling me to eff off, real classy. My babies fussed and cried. As all babies do. And everyone has spent type of help. You either have the child’s father or someone else in your life to help you. You couldn’t do it 100% alone cause that either means you are going to work everyday and have child care or you are staying at home with the baby. Which means someone else is involved as staying home generates no money. Sooooo….set the baby down for a few minutes to get things done. Even if they fuss they will be ok for a few minutes to shower or do what you need to do. My child fussed when put down so I found innovative ways to soothe her to be by herself out of necessity. And it worked. Just being frustrated all day holding a baby isn’t good for anyone. What is the point? Don’t act like it’s an impossible feat to bathe or eat a sandwich. You aren’t a special snowflake. Mothers get things done and without feeling sorry for ourselves either. Grow up.

    Someone once told me "the fact that you worry that your a bad mom means you really aren't one because you care", it's so normal to feel this way in this huge life shift into motherhood, we actually mourn the loss of our old selves while starting this new journey as a mom and it takes time! A lot of it ! Remember, you are doing enough! and this phase isn't forever.

    Do your thing mama! I looked homeless for like 8 months and still do sometimes (almost 2 years later). As long as she is fed and thriving in a home where she is loved, then you are not failing! Take care of yourself and your little nugget, the season will end but you are more than allowed to not be happy and thriving all of the time - moming is hard work ❤

    I love this video so much. I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant with our first baby & this video was so refreshing to watch. I have had a pretty awesome pregnancy so far so I consider myself very lucky. But you still hear so many people saying “wait until this… wait until that” and it always seems to go back to the negatives. But you have a wonderful way of turning the “negatives” into such a positive light. You are a wonderful mama. Thank you for sharing your story💗

    I’m sorry to hear it’s not been so easy for you ! It gets so much easier. My baby had hip dysphasia and was in a harness at 6 weeks for 3 months, I remember just feeling as if my whole world had crumbled. You just want your little baby to be happy and healthy! Your doing an amazing job, I’m sure she’s putting you through it now and she will grow up to be as chilled as a cucumber! You got this! The most real video on TH-cam yasss 👏🏼 ❤xx

    I had a baby girl in May 2022. She is a high maintenance girly too, so I feel you! The one thing I have learned in my first year of motherhood is that whether they are in a good stage or a bad stage, no stage lasts very long. They are always changing and growing and you resolve certain problems and new and different ones will arise. I am sooooo glad your baby girl is healthy and I'm sorry you had to go through those scary experiences. Welcome to the world Noelle, I hope you have a great life! She is gorgeous!!!!!

    So excited to see this and hear your story. All I can say is you’re doing great and as long as you + baby girl are healthy, sounds like a win to me! 🩷 Don’t ever feel like you need to explain any decision you have made or make. FORGET THE HATERS! And yes, feeding yourself is the hardest at least that’s been my experience too. I had my baby in Sept 2022, so I’m right there with you as a first time mommy. We’re slaying girl!

    Congratulations! First off You look amazing. I loved how honest you were about how hard having a newborn is. After having my daughter I was open and honest with my friends about my experience because I wish people would have told me what it was really like. Everyone always makes it seem so easy and great. When you are the one struggling it makes you feel like you are a failure. I also supplemented with formula. It does get easier! Hang in there. You are doing great!

    It’s ok Steph, I agree with Tommy, you keep her beautiful little face private for now. She has so much beautiful hair

    Take your time and enjoy her. Becoming a parent just cracks your heart open with love 💗 It’s weird, it’s the best thing that can happened to you, and it’s also the hardest thing. You will not remember your life before her, it’s like you really started living when she was born. I’m so happy for you and Tommy. Looking forward to watching this beautiful journey with Noelle 💗💗💗

    Your newborn baby sounds exactly like how my son was . Sounds like you are going through the same types of things that I went through . I also was scared to drive and bring him places as I just knew that it would be so hard cause of his crying etc. Just know Steph that things will definitely get better for you both . 😊 You’re doing a great job 👏🏼 Lots of love 💕 to you !!!

    My baby was sleeping and napping fine through her newborn phase and I still didn’t wear makeup or wear cute outfits because I prioritized my sleep. Thank you for being real about that…like who has time? When are you sleeping hahaha!

    Hey Steph! Congratulations!!! I’m so relieved for you she’s healthy! I have a boy ( now 15) and a girl ( now 12) and my daughter was born with a rare congenital heart defect. We found out 26 weeks into the pregnancy. Thankfully she’s super healthy now , she had two open heart surgeries which repaired her but boy what a ride it was. Motherhood and postpartum life is hard enough! My son, was my colicky baby. Wouldn’t let me put him down, only wanted to be held or would scream. He improved at 4 months old though. But yeah life was a shit show I couldn’t even brush my teeth or get anything together. These kids teach you so much about yourself and it’s such a roller coaster ride. Try and stay as present as possible it’s more true than we could even believe that it goes too fast. But it certainly doesn’t feel like it when you are sleep deprived, I know! The best piece of advice I could give you might not be the usual stuff you are hearing but I wish you would listen to this information and I wish someone had shared anything about it with me. I didn’t research anything to do with pediatric injections and it’s my biggest regret that I’ve made with my children. I knew zero, researched zero, and trusted the system. I think no matter what we decide we owe it to our children and their one body to at least research this issue. Many blessings for her continued health and much love for your family!

    You’re doing AMAZING, sweet mama! I’m so proud of you like you’re my daughter even though I just had my fourth baby almost a year ago! It’s impossible for you to see this now but you are thriving and you are doing far better than you could possibly understand! You are doing all the right things and you are definitely being too hard on yourself but that’s okay. It’s okay to be hard on yourself especially as a mother loving your sweet baby with all your heart. It’s fantastic that you are brave to be this vulnerable with this community and that you are also open to accepting love and guidance from us bc otherwise you wouldn’t have posted this! Again - I’m so proud of you and I think you are doing amazing and I’m so happy to be a distant member of your tribe bc every mommy needs a tribe!

    Congrats!!!!!
    Anxiety and depression are normal when we become 1st time moms. My son was 1 month premature and was in the hospital for 1 month. Going home without a baby was the most traumatizing experience ever, I was only 21 and i spent everyday in the hospital. I would go to the hospital from 8am to 9pm the entire time he was in there, mind you I had a c section. But I sat in that hospital chair everyday, when he was sent home he was sent home with a apnea machine because he was premature. He had an episode at home where he stopped breathing and the machine went off, long story short I was a hot emotional mess. To make matters worse I wasn’t producing any milk, and was unable to breastfeed so felt awful about that. He is now 13 and I still worry, still cry, he’s currently at a party and my anxiety is thru the roof. But the great amazing moments and the memories built are worth it. I love him so much, he’s literally my best friend 💙

    This made my Sunday! I’ve watched for what seems like 12 years…
    Be gentle with yourself in every way possible. Hang in there! My first baby girl just turned 20 and I’ve survived… (so far!) and sometimes it really just feels like survival and that’s at all ages and stages. And if it makes you feel any better, I just got down to my circa 2003 pre first pregnancy weight and I just turned 40. You’ve got lots of time Mama. Enjoy that sweet baby. ❤

    Please don’t compare yourself to others. You’re not going to ever feel like you are good enough or have your stuff together. That’s what mom life is. It’s the hardest job you will ever have it doesn’t end 24/7 and just when you get the hang of it life throws you a surprise. See your doctor about being stressed before it gets to overwhelming and you got this. ❤

    I had my baby boy in January and let me tell you, how you described Noelle is exactly how my baby was!! I couldn't do ANYTHING. There were days I didn't eat or use the bathroom bc I had to hold him all day or he'd scream. Our babies just need us more. I read somewhere that they're not giving us a hard time, they're having a hard time 💗 it's hard being so cozy in the womb to then being in the real world with so much stimulation. They just need mama!
