My Favourite 00's Album: Inviting patrons and other guests to come on the podcast to talk about their favourite bands, albums or moments from back in the day.
Legend or Landfill: We go through NME's top 10 albums of each year and see if we think they are indeed Legendary or for the Landfill.
Fans Stories: Talking to people about their memories and opinions on all things 00's.
Unsigned Stories: Chatting with bands that didn't quite 'make it' in terms of signing that elusive record deal.

My first three gigs were Bloc Party, Paramore and Arcade Fire, and collectively the price of those three tickets were just over £100.
Silent Alarm possibly the best British Band album of of the first half of the 00s
The sound of the drum and bass was the best out there in indie world around 2005-08
Liked The Rakes - Capture Release better
@@markn8535 Very good album, the rakes should have gone on to massive things on the back of Stasbourg.
Silent Alarm is next level though imo
Kid A.
I saw bloc party 3 times back in the day. Absolutely loved it. Good times
Thanks for this.
Hate Ticketmaster, expensive tickets then a booking/handling fee thrown on top at the end 🙃
Well said Matt. A valuable perspective from a Muscician who’s worked throughout the changing business eras of the music industry over the past 20 years.
U wont get “ ai making all the music “ people want real personalities and stories behind the music .
It's more likely they'll have AI making the music, lie about it and pretend a band is making it.
Matt's pad looks chill
Stopped coming back after covid because I can't afford the fuckin' ticket prices.
Good band
$200? I wouldn’t even pay that much for a band I fucking like.
No one should have to go see Boy Genius, let alone pay a mortgage for it.
But girl power
Who the fuck is boy genius lol
@@J.Braxton Ever heard of Google?
If Boy Genius were playing on my drive, I'd draw the curtains.
@@torinoscaletunes I'm sure Boygenius are devestated
He didn’t play the recent Glastonbury ……has he left the band?
only about a decade ago...
@@dddppp3086 …thanks…haven’t really kept up with them since mid noughties
You're not very quick are you?
@@TheMusicalElitist …bet I’m faster than you
@@raffles7556 You're clearly not, considering you didn't know he'd left the band...
It's the Oxford University thing, right? I'm not saying Bloc Party aren't a good band (I enjoyed the Glasto sets of the past, and the one from this year) but it must have been a positive. I remember there was a buzz about a scene there.
This guy had a "Hi Mum" sign on his bass drum at Glasto in probably 2005.
Not sure I follow, what must've been a positive? I don't believe any of them went to Oxford Uni?
Wat
What are you on about? They went to UCL...
