would save everybody a lot of time if the vid makers said whether any given vid was in applespeak or pc---got half way thru this confusing vid before i realized it was in apple not pc-what a waste

There's a clue in the little black apple in the top-left corner of the screen.. not to mention the style of the toolbars, windows, drop down menus, etc..

Apple version or not, it gave the info I needed and I'm on PC.

Pull your head out. If you can't figure this out, then you shouldn't be using Sketchup. Don't even consider Layout!
