  • A review on the Dart Marlin screen for the Triumph T120 Bonneville as well as almost collecting a student driver!
Still working on the mic placement and recording the audio so apologies for not the best sound.

Thanks for your video! Stay safe! I'm looking for a screen for my 2023 Speedtwin and one of these just might be the ticket. Cheers!

Thank you for one of the best presented reviews on this screen I've seen. I think you have finally convinced me to shell out this winter and get one. It was nice too, to see one fitted to an identical T120 to mine.
(I do love that belt conversion though, as well! lol!!)

I had that screen on then put a Givi universal screen much larger .Found it worse for turbulence,so will going back to the dart.

Does wind buffeting hit you or your helmet anywhere?
Does your visor still get hit by insects?

    • @bobberbob.68
      @bobberbob.68  ปีที่แล้ว +1

The helmet feels like it's in the wind cleanly, there's no buffeting at all. It's certainly less pressure though from no screen for sure. Bugs do make it through! I'd have to go way taller to stop that, then your into the whole buffeting issue again!

    Thank you for the review.
I was thinking about getting it for my street scrambler.
It is possible to go a speed of 120km/h ( 75-80mph ) without having air problems in the chest and face?
    thanks

Hi Andrea, it's not a touring screen that's going to put you in behind a calm bubble of still air, but it does relieve that constant push of air when there's no screen. Air flow into your helmet and body will depend on your height and size as to how it affects you. I cruise at 100 km/h and it's comfortable and overtaking above that is still good for me. Hope it works out for you!

@@bobberbob.68 thanks for the answer! I am tall almost 6’ and I have the triumph screen and I like go at 90km/h. but at 110-120 km/h in highway it is little bit annoying. I was thinking maybe the dart screen could be little better for this. I’ll thinking about it. thanks

@@AndreaPinto I'm 6ft and it is ideal to give that relief at those general speeds. Happy shopping!

My pillion is getting buffeting on her crash helmet. This is leading to headaches. Have you had pillion on and if so does this screen help with buffeting for pillion ?
    Thank you for sharing 👍🏻

That's a pain! I actually don't ride two up for any distance. Sorry!

@@bobberbob.68 hey no worries. It is very disappointing. Only done 300 miles so far on this bike still running in. Pillion didn’t mention it first few rides, I have however changed mirrors to bar end from triumph I wonder if this could be causing different flow of air causing the problem ???
Although a long shot Shall remove them tomorrow and see if any difference!!!

I was looking to get the Marlin for my Speed Twin and was concerned where the wind would be directed. You said it didn't interfere with your helmet. I'm about 178 cm (5'10"). Are you taller, shorter or about the same? Trying to judge where it would hit me, since I don't want the wind blast right on the visor. Great review and look forward to your reply.

Hi, I'm about 6ft with quite a central trunk/leg split. I use a Scorpion modular adx1 helmet without the peak. My head does feel turbulence free, although it's hard to quite know what's happening aero wise! I hope you find a screen that suits you. Thanks for the comment.
