Thank you Brad. I'm 76 and enduring so very much that not only comes with aging but with life in general at any age. I'm just very tired and yesterday finally just started crying. Last night and again today I asked god and the universe, whoever is in charge, to help me get through these feelings; I have no human to talk with. I just so want to get through the rest of my days without being depressed about things I have no control over. Then just now saw your email and listened/did the tapping with you. I will continue to do it every time it hurts so bad. Crying and tapping sometimes go together. They both help and I thank you so very much.

The best statement you said today for me was I release anything that does not feel like peace…….Right now that’s it! Thank you! I think I will add that to every tapping I do.💖💖💖💐

Interestingly I can always access the emotions in random moments but when I tap it's like I forget what was even upsetting me and I just yawn which means I must be releasing something.
    Thank you 😊

Thank you, Brad! I've been experiencing a lot of stress and worry about money, taxes, insurance (all sorts of adulting stuff not feeling great, at the moment). Last night, after lying in bed for an hour or so, letting it all get to me, I began to tap on all of it. Eventually, I fell asleep and slept very well. Then I find this in the email in box, and tapped along. Feeling much better now. It's all gonna work out.

I saw this at the exact time I needed it Brad!!!
I saw something on TV that caused a huge trigger from a recent narcissistic abusive relationship.
I feel much better after this tapping session. Thanks so much. I don't see my therapist for another week, and you my friend, are my online therapist. My therapist introduced me to tapping and then I found you !!! Thank you Brad 😊

Thank you Brad! Yes I was wondering about this too - feeling feelings or tapping. If feelings are always cognitive as well then eft makes total sense for me.. because it addresses the root cause. There are so many opinions out there: feel the feelings, feel the physical sensation.. feel what’s behind the feelings… but I feel like with eft in a way one gets there as one addresses the feelings on an energetic level? I love the questions you ask on this video, so helpful 🙏🏻🤗

Absolutely NO good or bad, negative or positive emotions. If we can identify our present emotion and identify the need the emotion indicates, we can take steps to meet our needs. We live empowered when we are able to have our needs met.

It's crazy. 10 minutes of this, and I felt like I had 3 hours of deep conversation with a very empathetic and sensitive close friend.
    I really needed this.
I realized yesterday I had a limiting belief that caused me a lot of pain, I cleared it, but I felt so bad afterwards. Turns out I was mad myself for being wrong, all this time this belief caused me a lot of pain. Getting rid of it was a huge relief, but at the same time, It's uncomfortable to admit you've been wrong in the past, and more importantly I think I was really mad, because this belief really caused me a lot of pain, and so I was mad at myself for holding that belief, or rather should I say, holding on to it subconsciously, because my ego didn't want to be bruised.
Would I really rather suffer, than admit I was wrong? Wow.. I might have a really big ego, that's not very compassionate of me. I'm sorry, please forgive me...
Thanks, I wish I could hug you Brad.

    • @tapwithbrad
      @tapwithbrad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yup... sometimes we'd rather keep making the the same mistakes to avoid admitting we've been wrong in the past. Many if not most of us have been taught to do that. I appreciate your willingness to move through that, as it will benefit you and others.
      I hope these will help:

@@tapwithbrad Thank you very much for your suggestions !
I did another round of processing, 5 minutes after my comment, and I was able to forgive myself for being wrong. Actually, I am glad I was wrong, I'm able to forgive myself for that, I just adopted that belief out of pain, confusion and misinformation, my perspective now is much clearer, and I'd like to say factual as well. I did let go of that wrong perception yesterday, but additionally now, that part of me which was still suffering because of my mistake is at peace, and I can see the truth much more clearly now.
I am now able to approach my problem with more level headededness and certainty, and with less confliction/confusion.
Thanks again for your wonderful emotional intelligence, compassion and sensitivity.
      Greetings from Europe!

negative emotions occur due to our “Thoughts” about things that are occurring in this life story…
