I really liked this as well, especially everything Marcus goes through (my favorite of the 3 androids). After this I played Heavy Rain and left feeling very disappointed (until I read that game had a lot of cut content). Over the holiday break maybe I'll play Beyond Two Souls. Good review. Definitely agree - it was awesome and isn't to be over-judged on gameplay
Yeah, Marcus storyline is great, but I actually liked Connor more. The perspective of an android hunting down other androids is really fascinating! I didn’t like where Heavy Rain’s story went and stopped playing Beyond Two Souls after a while, so I was pleasantly surprised about how good Detroit is!

A good review of a top notch game. The only real annoyance is the clunky UI for ppl who are playing this with keyboard and mouse on the pc. Especially in timed and battle situations its moronic. Its a similar thing like playing a old style skill oriented fps with a controller.

@@JennDjinn Yeah well,its enjoyable for the most part,but i rage quit a couple times nevertheless because of the UI. Its just lazy on the devs side. PS: The more i go into the story the less it all makes sense. In fact its a pretty infantile black & white story that is way to shallow and undifferentiated for an adult player. While i appreciate the games underlying structure and the overall concept it fails in consistence and believability.

Yeah, I think it's better than Heavy Rain in every aspect. Imo HR has too many plot holes, poor voice acting and a lackluster conclusion.
