Very handy in both summer and winter. Summer, you could take it and just bivvy under it, as well as throw on in a summer shower, and in winter, somewhere to keep your gear dry and save room in your tent and vestibules. Cheers
i have a Tomshoo poncho tarp - I took it on a trip for the same reasons, but used it just as a poncho. Mine just has ringlets so I got those bungie ball things so I can peg it out without damaging the eyelets, which I don't trust 100%. They will spread the load. Only thing I am not a fan of with ponchos are getting my arms wer!
Cool idea. I always bring one of those tarp /shelter things with me because you never know when you might need one but I haven't seen one like this before.
Nice video Martin. Ponchos are great and very versatile. I've never used one as a shelter though. It would be interesting to try that out. Thanks for the video, great work as always...
Cool, thanks for this. I have a heavier version from Lidl, have only used it as a ponch, but have been thinking what I would need to add to use it as a shelter!
Excellent video and tarp setups, I don't use tents anymore, I just use tarps, 3X3, 4X4 or a poncho, all work wonders, there are so many setups you can make, and they are a lot lighter than any of the tents I had, I think everyone should have one in there backpack
Congratulations on the 4k subs! I have been tempted to get myself a poncho but just never have. They're undeniably a very versatile bit of gear. Great for the woods, Is it ripstop material? Great video as always 🙌
