Stitch along with me step by step and learn how to create this awesome Kreative Kiwi coaster - made and finished completely in the hoop - no sewing needed at all. Once you finish the last step take it out of the hoop, trim it up and turn it. You are done!
This is one of my favorite Kreative Kiwi designs - it is fun and easy to stitch out and makes fantastic gifts. You can add some personalization to the quilting part in the middle, and it looks amazing - i have given these out a few times and they always get rave reviews.

Do you think if I did a stitching video that people would like it? I mean like a gorgeous complicated long stitch one, on fast speed. I think it would be spectacular to see it all come together. Not sure if it is just me or not, LOL.

This looks great, i was thinking the larger size could be a pot holder.
yes it could - wouldn't that be cute? All you would have to do is get the heat absorbent batting instead of regular batting!

Do they still offer this design. I ant find it on kreative kiwi or oml. I really love this pattern and want to do it. Especially after watching your tutorials. Just bought a new Stellair brother emb Mach and I am learning a lot from watching you.!!!

In this video the description is mug rug and the finished product appears to be rectangular. However the free design appears to be a square and says coaster. I really want mine rectangular.
The picture in the description is square and the mug rug is square. Kreative Kiwi calls them coasters - coasters and mug rugs are the same.
I tried looking for this design to try but cannot find it on the oml site or kreative kiwi.
it's a Kreative Kiwi design, I think it might have been free. KK calls them coasters.

I recommend leave step 8 out its not pretty takes away from it. Its the black outline don't do do it😂😢
Peggy Shaw yes, i don’t care for the black outline. It does look great, but I like things plain and simple, so I skip that step.
