step 6 is modify dice. 6c is the expertise section, with attacker doing thier expertise first, followed by defender. So if they roll no blocks but they roll expertise that give them blocks, your dice that modify blocks to fails do nothing.
Thanks for sharing this overview. It makes me even more excited about getting the box. A thought in defense of poor Del Meeko - Keep in mind that his Shove on his expertise is *excellent* vs. models with Steadfast. You are not depending on Strikes or Criticals to try to generate Shoves in a tree. A Shove that comes from Expertise is not the same as one on a Combat Tree Option, and is not negated by Steadfast. Having a Shove outside of the tree, especially with just a single Expertise roll, can be very useful. I'm sure 5th Brother, Savage, and others are not going to like this at all. 🙂 Just a thought.
Would all these hunker token removals in the new packs drop your view of Obi-Wan from S tier or drop any other GAR units? I am worried about power creep.
I think he is still fine. It’s only effecting one or two units at most, and if anything, between Obi and Rex, what GAR can do with Hunkers is pretty OP in my opinion, so maybe this levels the playing field a little.
If you dont include the "until the end of turn" in covert operations then the character would never actually lose the buff. So Del would have a total of sharpshooter 3 for the rest of the game. Then the next time he used the ability it would add another, then another.
The block lightsaber technique was used by several characters in the shows as well. It's kinda become the new "it looks cinematic, let's have everyone do it" thing that looks makes her feel less special. I like Rey though despite the shit writing around her

Exactly, hence why a hit is better overall…
@RichMidGaming yea I replied when you first asked then listened deeper and saw you answered the question. Just trying to help :P
great review as always Rich
Glad you enjoyed it
Great review, Empire are looking pretty solid. Cheers as always.
They are indeed- now just waiting on Thrawn!
I think iden is very good, even though the combat tree isn't the best, 8 dice at range 5 with those expertise tables seems really good to me.
Yep, very solid!

Also, his stance is called SUPPRESSING FIRE, not ‘headshots for days’ lol so it works that he’s more pushing models back than dealing hefty damage.
As always good review. And welp, again AMG tipping the scale, true to SW lore. Good job AMG.

That’s fair, I just know it’s something your going to have to explain to somebody in a game though 🤣
On Gideon Hask ability (Defiance will be the death of you), does he himself get to add the success on the attack rolls too?
He does indeed, it states 'allied' not 'another allied'
@@RichMidGaming that's what I thought too, but the person I was playing pointed out the word "other" in the ability.
❤❤❤
The day Empire gets Coordinated Fire: exposed, the block to fail expertise in this box will be really good.
Stop the Rey hate. I was enjoying this channel. Love me a Rey. Think about her defence expertise with her ability to force block light sabers!

True, we don't need no negativity.
