While I'm sure you have plenty of videos that you need to make already, I would be very interested in seeing a "D to A" series, where you propose suggestions that would take D-tier characters into the A-tier. Regardless of whether or not you do that, I have been enjoying these rankings immensely! Thanks for making them.

Biggest disagreement so far - Quinn said shang chi just has to get unlucky once - he gets unlucky once and he gets stronger, he needs to get unlucky twice! Otherwise, entertaining watch once again. Just hope for the five threats, angela spiderman and Namor make it to S tier just for first activation shenanigans.

I really think there's a place for Omega Red on Strucker Hydra paired up with Abomination. You get Gamma Shelters, Demons Downtown or SWORD Base and you park those two in the middle of the board and they just turn it into a horrific swamp. The only thing about him I'd change is I'd make his Death Spores effect Enemy Characters after the end of a movement.

His leadership was ruled on to only allow you to treat a skull as a crit in the initial roll not whenever you get one. It acts like Domino's probably manipulation not reality gem.

I couldn't not remember that Venom was in S tier last T4 list video. Have things really changed that much for him?

I know OG Spiderman need a glow up for sure but a L move with web line deserves at least C tier. Give taser webs a guaranteed stun and he would be a solid B.

I loved the idea of reworking him and doing the +/- dice to his attacks based on # of grunts and adding DR. The size mod idea was pretty impressive.

I've been playing a lot of Spider Foes this year and by my experience Sandman is a definite cut above Electro. He has a ton of displacement built into his kit(Electro has none,) he can teleport without restriction(Electro has to drop extracts,) and he is tougher than Electro. Sandman takes more time to work out, but he can make some crazy plays. 1st big tip, try to use his builder if possible; it builds power and the wild throw can add damage and displacement. Once you get power for Absorb you can get places that people don't expect and still have 2 attacks. He also likes Suprise! and Custom Upgrades. Just don't play him into DD Defenders. I hope you give him another chance, Sandman is the best character in the new Foes box IMO.

Well done i like these short format videos 😉 But generally agree nothing grievous enough to moan against and pleaaed that you view the game so well balanced at least for 4 threats. Just two things that are definitely worth restating Shang chi is definitely top tier and yes, they screwed up with Xceptional healing removal/replacement. The new card needs a major rework, the likes of sandman need it to be better.

I was thinking use Emma Frost because his versatility, could you help with a list of characters that can be good with her? I haven't been able to find a tutorial for his specific affiliation like the Dracula's vid you did, just bunch battlereports but not a proper vid for HFC thanks

Sandman is an excellent char but is just difficult to use. most of the top spider foes players rank him as number one Foe - I'd put him top of B minimum

So can del meeko even use focus and sharpshooter 3 and his 2nd attack? Since he would use a covert ops action then also an attack action, so can he make the 2nd attack action or is that one not an action?

I agree Electro is probably not splaah worthy, but I'm still trying to figure a way to effectively combo magneto and him as using tactically placed constructs to offer him key movements seems a really cool combo.

Hello again! Thank you for producing this series. It's very interesting, and I enjoy putting it on while I paint models. Much appreciated. As I've listened, a thought has struck me that I thought I'd share. Please understand, this is not criticism. This is your channel, and you of course have every right to present it as your wish. This is just a thing to consider. I've noted that a number of your comments about characters who don't 'stand out' in your view are focused on them needing something in their *rules* to make them stand out in the crowd. Fair enough, but I'd suggest you are undervaluing the uniqueness of the character itself as a distinguishing element. What I mean is that if I'm a fan of Hero Person, but not a fan of Champion Person, then ... even if their *rules* are identical ... I will play with Hero Person. In other words, the value of who the character *is* matters to many players just as much as what they *do*. For many players, this game presents a chance to live out our own favorite fantasies with our own favorite characters, and having their rules be very similar, even identical, to another is not a factor at all as long as they are balanced. I hope that makes sense, and that you take that as an idea, not a complaint. Thank you for making these videos.

So, I have a bunch of questions and comments, but the one that I am most curious about is Carnage. In your opinion(s), would Carnage be balanced if his defense line was 5-2-2? I love his kit, but definitely recognize that he is not a durable character.

Thanks I wasn't aware that you can trigger flurry first before the pushes in Medusa example. I always thought the sequence in the card needs to be resolved accordingly from top to bottom.

Does the same apply to area attacks as well whereby the allies within the same area of impact receive 1 dmg?

I love sinister as a character (Gillian did such a cool job with him back in the day.) So I want him to work in MCP. So I've been putting him in my Apoc lists. Here is kind of what I have found. Pestilence: He doesn't have the mobility to pestilence bomb as well as you would like. And none of his basic attacks apply conditions. He can put root on stuff but the pestilence card does that already. And while you can bring some things in the affiliation to help with his mobility, against good players you often need that movement to help Apoc instead. I think he is the worst choice for Pestilence you can bring in your list. Famine on the other hand? Now we are cooking a bit. Why is Cloning banks a trap? Because you need to move in order to hit and you are usually only hitting 1-2 characters a turn. So you are only building 1-2 genetic samples a turn. But with Famine hop you are able to "freely" move him around and with his base size its actually a pretty good move. This also lets you beam multiple times or strike and beam if you need to build the power. This means you are consistently building 3 genetic samples a turn. Or even letting you beam, root, beam again spending and staying at 3. The range on your attack is also 4. Which keeps him in the range bands you want for famines passive. I have had multiple games now where turn 1 build 1 genetic sample. Nothing great but it gets the cloning banks online. Turn 2, I famine hop toward the clump of middle objectives and build 3 genetic samples. Turn 3 starts and I now have a free honey badger. I could wait till turn 4 and get a 3 threat instead. But I have found having honey badger be just that little bit of annoyance and bodyguard that she is helps keep apocalypse himself up and running. I still don't think this is amazing game breaking stuff. But its fun, and at least elevates him out of D tier and into C tier for the affiliation and getting that extra character online a full turn earlier than in other places breaks stigma cloning banks has as a trap. Bringing in off extra characters and having more threat than your opponent is an extremely powerful mechanic and should be relegated to difficult "probably not worth the hassle" cards.

I'm newer to this game, but to me it kinda seems like you guys are ranking these all based on where you want them to be vs where they are If most of the characters are below average, then your using the wrong line for average Still a great vid though, listened to the whole thing while driving all day
