I’ve been playing this game heavy for a year. I learned from wizard of odds and instincts. I wish I saw your video first. I have learned more great strategy. I know this will work. Thank you !
Here's a better strategy. J-A = 2 pts each. 6-10 = 1 pt each. 2-5 = 0 points each. If your points are higher or equal to the number of cards you can see you stay in. If not you fold.
@@DrunkGuyExplains yeah it was really good..I couldn’t hit squat else for much of the session.. ended about $120 ahead so I guess that’s better than a loss
This is not great advice. I hit quad 2s and was dealt a pair of 2s. Strategy says to bet 3x on the 3rd street bet if dealt a low pair. Wish I would have. I’d have made $800 more.
Ahhhh I’m a blackjack player and was first time playing Stud. Only took 200 cash and had queen+2 on hand one and queen+3 on hand 2 hit one on each and folded both then left :(. They turned out to be both two pairs so I would’ve been up over $100 :/
You say to fold 6-10, but you played 6-4 in the video (7:45)? That's a pre-fold 100 pct of the time. No personal preference, just a bad bet. The only exception is if it's a straight flush draw.
@@DrunkGuyExplains I didn't have to. I watched you make 8 statistically poor decisions in the first 5 minutes that will cost anyone playing that way to lose significantly more money. The actual strategy proven by computer models is High J-A (2 points), Medium 6-10 (1 point), low 2-5 (0 points). Play all low pairs with a triple on first street, and play minimum unless you get a pat hand trips or 2 pair. Play when you have equal or more points then cards seen. Q4 is 2 points, I have seen my 2 cards and have 2 points , I play one. if I pair the 2, I stay one, if 3-5 I fold, if 6-A I see one, if pat hand, max. Keep playing the same way, except 3 card sf with 1 gap of less, so 65s 3s stay 2s fold. That is actual mathematically proven strategy.
1. I am so sorry - I thought you were commenting on my new craps video 2. At my casino you can come down on odds , so if you 3x first street then you have to for the rest. I like your reasoning for that strat. Might have to try it out

I’ll run this !
@@DrunkGuyExplains It's stolen strategy from the Wizard of Odds page.
So folding a pocket 2 - 4 won't end up a full house? It did for me...$350 progressive, 10:1= $200, and 1:1 $10 community bet. I'll play the odds.
Nice
@@steveadams7592 There's always a chance, but if you play that way consistently you will lose a lot of money.
Great video! I love Mississippi Stud and play it a lot!
The devil but it’s fun
watching this video after hitting a royal flush today but losing out on the 790k jackpot because i didnt bet on it. Was truly devestated.
That blowsssssss !
Oh No!!!! Some people/wizard of odds tells you not to make those bets. I disagree. Make them everytime.
Pic??
interesting strategy. I enjoyed your commentary, I'll try your strategy and see if it works better than the point system.
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thanks
Makes perfect sense.👍
Yup
I’m watching this video after I hit quad 4s today 😳
That’s awesome

Hell yea
So you wont play pairs 2 through 5 ?
No
I’m kinda partial to pocket queens also. Hit four queens a few weeks ago lol
Queens are the lifeblood without people knowing it

did you say beaucoup? you from down da bayou?
Haaahaaaa
If you initially start off with two push cards, let's say a 6 and a 10. Do you stay in?
No , pay and push

Don’t listen to him. 0 math behind this. Chooses the wizard of odds
Considering the video is 4 hours long I don’t think you watched this

There is no discards
In MS stud
@@DrunkGuyExplains I just posted a video in Vegas I think they do not sure
I base the MS stud game off the rules at Cherokee NC , Harrahs Cherokee casino. I wonder what kind of difference having burn cards would make
Yeah I was drunk last few times I played don't remember I don't think they discard in Michigan either but probably makes odds worse
This has to be the worst game odds at the casino lol
It really is , true odds vs payouts is garbage
it’s volatile that’s why
What a great way to describe it
