A great way to clean your pipes out is to pour boiling water in drain, then add baking soda and vinegar. Then flush with boiling water. It will clean the pipes. I do it once a month.
I love your fin videos! And your clear answer on the wax you use and wicks you use in your business has sold me! I’m brand new and overwhelmed on where to start. Following your (fun!) lead! YES!!🎉 Thank you! Do you have an affiliate link where you can get credit at 16-17?
Hi Michael! I was just about to order some coconut apricot wax! I do use vybar 103 & 260. I notice a difference. Thanks for the tip! And, your nail color is to die for!!! I know it's been a while but do you remember the name of it?

Hi Val, I started making candles back in Sept. 2020 and was planning on launching my candle line at the beginning of this year, it so happens that my trademark application was denied, so I had to put everything on hold until my new trademark application comes through. Hopefully my new name will get approved. I'm not planning on investing any money until I'm sure that I can use my new name. I will start with selling candles only, then depending on the way they sell I may branch into other products too. Thanks for your support.
Hello Michael how much of the Vybar to use in my 8oz Jelly Jar. I measure in grams and the total wax for one 8oz Jelly is 162 and I do 10%FO how would I measure the Vybar
@@CandleRomance how many candles are you able to make with 1lb of wax? Thanks so much for responding I’m just trying to see how much to use with one candle.
@@tawanalm by using the wax calculator from your iPhone or android it will tell you how wax you need for a container. I don't really know how to figure it out myself.

I wish we could get the amazing products you guys get in America here in the uk I've been looking but its hard ... please keep doing what you do me and my daughter love watching you videos ... sending lots of love from the UK xx
Ahhhhh, Michael, I love you but you have sinned with Coco Apricot! Heat to 200-210, add fragrance at 190 and stir only 30 seconds. Then pour. Nice smooth tops every time. Also to clean out your supplies, when wax is still hot on container sides, spray with 99% alcohol and wipe out with a paper towel. Never use soap and never put down the drain. How was the hot throw? I am thinking about using Vybar.
It's an ice cream scooper I got at amazon, I'll send you the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RGFVBQY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hey Michael, can you PLEASE tell me...do you stir the wax while it's in the presto pot? someone told me you have to stir it while taking the temp with an infrared thermometer to get an accurate reading. I'm wondering if this is why my results have not been consistent? Thank you!!!
I tend to stir while the wax is getting heated up just in case there's moisture on it, but I don't think it's necessary to be honest. The only time I used to stir is when I added additives to the wax like Vybar 260, to make sure it's thoroughly mixed.
My understanding of Vybar is that it won't intensify the hot or cold throw of the candle, it'll just allow you to pour more FO should you want more in. Is this not true? Like, did you use your normal ratio of FO and added Vybar and it actually made it stronger? That would help me soooooooooooooooooooo much, you have no idea.
I found this article on Reddit, very interesting and it explains how Vybar works by hardening the wax therefore making the burn "hotter" and allowing more fragrance oil to evaporate faster giving a stronger Hot Throw. I don't use Vybar anymore, since using No.7 wax from 16/17 there's no need top add any additives to have a strong Hot Throw. www.reddit.com/r/candlemaking/comments/qrskre/vybar_to_enhance_hot_throw/

When i used the vybar it didn’t help at all,if anything it held back the fragrance 😢
Omg! I just noticed your nails😂😂 you’re so cute😘😘 Do you know if the vybar is carcinogenic? Thank-You for sharing this lovely video🧘🏽♂️❤️🕯❤️🥰
Did you try a larger wick since it drowned halfway through the jar? How did the Vybar work for this wax?
I didn't try a larger wick, but the Vybar did make a difference in the HT, I would recommend it.
@@CandleRomance thank you for replying
@@CandleRomance a larger wick will help. They told me to use the smaller wick and ended up using the medium sized one -- definitely worked better!
Hi there
Love your videos
Like to know when do you add vybar to the wax while it melting or after you melt the wax
Thanks
I add it while it's melting, and stir very well after is melted.
Where did you get that spatula you stir with 🙂
at the supermarket, they are silicone spatulas.

Thank you so much for the tips, the HT was not there, very disappointing using coco apricot. Maybe in the future I'll give it another shot.

@@CandleRomance That is surely interesting! Thank you!!! 🤗
New to your channel and I so enjoyed your video. Thank you ❤️
I noticed when I use Mica it drowns the wick
Mica is not good to use on candles only for melts, because of that same reason, it drowns the wicks, even if you only add a minimum amount.
I have the same problem. Did you find the video?
I'd love to answer your question, but need more information, I did this video so long ago, please refresh my memory, sorry I couldn't be more help.

I am very frustrated with wooden wicks. I feel like I've tried everything.
