- Townscaper is basically a freeform ASMR city building game! The gameplay is calm, relaxed, peaceful. The sound effects are satisfying and sweet. Altogether, I hope you enjoy this lovely game and video, even if I was interrupted by a thunder storm at the end!

I think it would be nice if they added people with shirts matching the color of their houses and they just walked around and interacted with the town and other people
I definitely think that sounds really good as long as it doesn't impact performance! A lot of little people walking around might cause some issues in really huge towns 😅

@@JubileeWhispers You could also toggle them in the settings just in case, which would stop them from being rendered and stop the AI script from being ran
I feel like this game needs a mode where you can explore your town in a first person perspective. Running around streets I make would be amazing!

Wish it had different building types.. like being able to place a Town Hall, suburban areas and more city like. Or even doing different type of Eras
u kinda can made town hall like buildings, there’s a sorta star shaped tile that shows up that’s great for making a tall tower part of a town hall, and u can make clusters of buildings have a flat roof for a more industrial area
Or like statues and stuff like that
I kinda feel like the idea of the game is to be sImple and relaxing, and to not have a lot to think about, you can just place houses and figure out the shapes and adding billions of choices gets rid of that simple ness.

The rain and Thunder in the background was so relaxing! Please do another one of these but like way longer. Perhaps an hour length.

Id like to see shops and churches and such like. And npcs mooching around the town, to make it more alive. But overall a very relaxing game. And another great video :D

Allison!! I have another game similar to this one that I need to recommend to you! It’s called dorfromantik and I think you could get some quality ASMR content out of it! It has a creative mode, but even just the “game” mode itself is super chill and slowly builds a beautiful map with gorgeous colors 💛

Watercolor and other simple art styles are very psychologically soothing. Okami or BoTW for instance both use strong traditional inspirations. It’s a shame there aren’t more really amazing games that utilize these techniques.
