    Thanks for the video! for those having the problem of the seat moving one way but not the other, you have to take apart the individual toggle (the one in his hand at 2:54) was my problem. That is just snapped on. You take it apart and clean the contacts on both surfaces or the rocker arm thing. Mine we kind of black , so I used a q tip and some rubbing alcohol and then did my best to scrape off the black with a utility blade and wipe off again with rubbing alcohol. I put it back and presto!

    Thank you so very much ED! I was looking all over the internet and found nothing but very frustrating and time consuming processes. I swapped the bad power seat module in fuse box and my seat came back to life. Thank you 1 million times!!

    Thanks for the vid. Turned out the connection to the board on the side of the seat had come loose. Connecting it back did the trick!

    When i turn on the switch it lights up, but no heat. So it still might be the 40 amp fuse?

    That is a 40 amp fuse, NOT a relay..

    My Odyssey seat recline function stopped working about six weeks ago. No surprise there….my Odyssey
    does have a 181,000 miles on it.
    s I rarely adjust the seat recline angle, except on long rides, it was no big deal. I did look at some TH-cam videos over the last month and found some possibilities but told myself I would look at it closer one day…… today was the day.
    I went out in the garage about 30 minutes ago to check the inside fuse box just to the left of the brake
    pedal. My Odyssey manual showed only ONE 20 A fuse associated with the driver power seat. However, when I removed the fuse cover and looked at the schematic inside the fuse cover which shows the actual location of the fuses, it showed TWO driver seat fuse locations, ONE for the driver seat slide (up and back) and ONE for the driver seat recline (tilt).
    When I looked at the fuse position where the driver seat recline was located, there was NO FUSE!
    hat, no fuse? The seat recline function had worked for 14 years….but wasn’t there. I looked further down into the recess but visibility was limited. I didn’t have a spare 20 A fuse so I pulled the 20 A fuse from the moon roof and inserted it into the driver seat recline…..and it worked!
    I like easy fixes……but where did the original fuse go? My thought was that with the plastic cover in place, the fuse would be kept in place by the cover and not allow them to work their way out…..but I guess that is what happened.
    Anyway, from one Odyssey owner to another, keep an eye on your fuses…

    The fuse box wasn’t the problem for me, and all my connections are in place, anyone have any other ideas?

      it the seat controller module. There is a self test procedure that is pretty advanced for professionals... looks tricky.

    This is not a relay. It is a fuse. Not the same !!

    I didn't see no movement. You didn't point the camera or phone to where it's moving so I know for sure that was ur problem.

  • @lightbulb754
    @lightbulb754 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    And your saying the wrong thing. 40amp fuse not relay

    • @glasser2819
      @glasser2819 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      fuse and relays are quite hard to confuse but I guess everything is possible 🤣

    How would I know that was your problem if I didn't see the seat move in your video ??????? Or maybe you didn't get it so you was upset and cut it off. When doing things like this you have to make sure people watching is actually seeing what your doing. You can't get credit or good job if I didn't see the seat move or hear it.
