@metal_ak4 No, not without pain. I can get the folds going but it hurts every time. I would practice every day if it didn't hurt... now it's more or less on the shelf. I think I am engaging the epiglottis, without wanting to. Not sure how to disengage it. Have you secrets to share? :D
@metal_ak4 No pain though? Also the overtones can only form properly with certain shapes of your mouth, so you might have the technique down despite the lack of overtones!
@metal_ak4 Hmmm seems like you have a muscle memory dysfunction just like me, but of a different kind. I can get overtones sometimes, but I have to fight through pain. :(

it is so beautiful..
This was really helpful. Once he describes the method of getting the sound to begin with. It became easy
Did anybody hear a bell in the background? I think they’re near a church, that’s why I could hear it clearly
Yeah, I heard it a few times!
I wish we could have the footage from the guy in a chequered shirt on the left, looks like he had a better angle.
In the end, they play "Ediski deg Boostaamny". Does someone have the lyrics, please?
If someone needs it:
"Ediski deg Boostaamny"

@metal_ak4 why did he say it after he showed hömey? Does it other meanings in Tuvan language? A meaning which is used in conversation?
@Ögedei Khan We use the same word with the same meaning in Turkish :D A very interesting word, maybe Altai theory can explain it but i barely know it
oi shude means something along the lines of "giddy up" in Tuvan as far as I know.
Is there a recording of the concert announced?
Тыван: Ө ө үүүү ңүүңүү: Горловое пение
Türkiye’den selamlar 🇹🇷 🐺
It just hurts :(

@metal_ak4 That sounds strange. What happens if you try to impose your normal voice on top of that growl?
@metal_ak4 No pain though? Also the overtones can only form properly with certain shapes of your mouth, so you might have the technique down despite the lack of overtones!

@metal_ak4 Keep trying! When you get there, feel free to share wisdoms if you come upon any :))
