It looks like it'll be plenty strong. You might have to do something to smooth the airflow at the front, maybe? 110km/h wind catching that might try and lift the front wheels or something? It's coming along really nicely!
@ThalassTKynn Yes I have thought about the wind flow and being more efficient on the road. I may have to 'trial and error' some ideas if it doesn't work well. I would hate for it to lift off. Very scary indeed!
Excellent professional work! I think it's crosswinds that all tall vehicles, not just Kei cars, need to be aware of. Bridges in particular can have gusty winds, so be careful not to let them disrupt your steering.from Japan
@Dakotaro Yes, you're right, crosswinds can affect all cars, and I will try and make sure it's as efficient as can be without making the car loose its cute house theme. Thanks for watching 😀
Oh my goodness...I can't believe you found my small channel. I am a HUGE fan of yours. WOW!! Thank you so much for watching. You have given me inspiration in the Kei Truck Camper Community with your amazing videos 😃
@philjohnston007 Thanks 😊 the frame is 32mm x 32mm x 3mm. The base is 50mm x 50mm x 3mm. The 3mm is easier to weld for beginners so you don't burn through and get holes.
Have you weighted it? Can you give a approximate cost? It looks grrrrrrreat. What I can say is that is extremely strong compare to the one I saw thats about $1000 at eBay. Not even comparable.
Thank you :-) I plan on going to a weigh bridge soon to check how I am going weight wise. The tray said 350kg when I imported it, so I will try and make it as light as possible, and under this amount. Yes I wanted it built strong so it could withstand our highways at 110km
Do you think the frame is strong enough to withstand Australian Highways driving at 110 kilometres per hour/ 69 miles per hour?

I am also curious here in Cape Town, South Africa. Is that 25mm or 50mm aluminium square tubing you used?
I'm really looking forward to the completion😁

Looking good. What is the gauge/ size of the aluminum you are using in the frame?

Hello, it is 32mm x 32mm x 3mm 😀
