Mcgrath is one of the most UNDERATED players in the AFL. #1 draft pick, who plays defence, Not the flashiest of players but boy does his 1%ers really come through. Gets memed on cause the other high draft picks went to super teams and have done more. Comes into a shambles of a club, does work every single week and supports the defence and midfeild like no other can. If we do the draft again i'm still picking him #1. Brilliant player
not underrated at all, still makes plenty of clangers and doesnt really do much damage to the opposition.
@@robery4008 and his skills have improved, his accuracy by foot is much better now
@@Casanova-Frankenstein_93 entirely incorrect.
@@Littleyeti7 hes good but not elite
@@Casanova-Frankenstein_93 of full time defenders he’s at the top of score involvements. So clearly he’s doing something right. And he has the best 1v1 win ratio this year of any general defender.
Loving Andy McGrath this season. Great VC to Merrett
Bartel would make a fine coach, he is always sharp. Unfortunately, I think he's too well off financially to consider it. I think David King would make a good coach also, he was an assistant at the Tigers. Both are very knowledgeable tactical analysts
You could see mcgrath has a solid footy iq and reads the play well, his execution off the boot isn't always the prettiest but his there when it matters.
WB coach Bevo is bent on dropping good players from the team and placing unskilled rookies onto seasoned oppoonents. He seems to be determined to sink the doggies. At the current rate, he should succeed in making the bottom Four.
He’s a number 1 pick, a lot should be expected. He plays back pocket. He’s not a player to build a dynasty around. He’s definitely not the best player from the 2016 draft. Here are the better ones. Tim English, Jordan Ridley, Hugh mccluggage, Mitch Lewis, Tim Taranto Jy Simpkin.
Taranto 😂😂😂
I wouldn’t say that any of those players are ‘dynasty’ level. The 2016 draft wasn’t all that strong in hindsight but I reckon if you redo the draft, McGrath is still a top 10 if not top 5 pick. Someone has to be picked 1st and not every player is going to be Harley Reid.
Taranto, waaaay, better than that back pocket player. Won a couple of B and F's. What's the back pocket done?
@@terrya8989my god you sound like a proper donut.
Oh wow, they mentioned brisbane 😂
Fast snow 62
What damning vision? Clickbait title?
Our soft all Australian ruck
McGrath has improved his kicking skills to an under 18s level. Good for him
@@worker-wf2em better than Saad, 1. He actually can keep the ball low and hit a target. 2. he actually defends
Tim “soft as butter” English hating a contest again… no way
Mgrath was #1 draft pick AHAHAHA
how's your afl career going?
You are one of those that goes around bagging everyone when you have achieved nothing. Must be very unhappy with your life
Scott gumbleton was pick #2 in 2006,bombers sure do waste high draft picks
Now is #1 turnovers what a gem
What’s with AFL shows and fuckn stats. It’s boring
Trying to follow the American sports blueprint.
the game is based on numbers you flog.
@@nathand4500gees what happened to you someone has really hurt you big time. Have you been told lately
”Flog”. What’s with Australians and these stupid words they use to sound big?
@@nathand4500 youre an idiot. watch a game and use your eyes, stats dont mean much and can be cherry picked
Yeah wonderful player if he went at about pick 30. Not number 1.
Nuffy comment
Cheers Jeff
how many afl games have you played flog.
Mate, you poo poo everything when you have done exactly sweet FA in footy, give it a rest chump
There’s no point obsessing about whether he’s as good as a number 1 should be. Be happy he’s a good player. There are always swings and roundabouts - Nic Martin and Sam Durham are much better than the path we got them by would suggest.
Sam Draper the most overrated footballer in the comp
