This is the exact video comparison I wanted to see. I love the Air Straight so much more because I never curl my hair and buying the Air Wrap would be a waste, since I'd only be using the smoothing brushes. Thank you for your great review!
This is the comparison I needed to see ! Now I can definitely say that, for those of you who hesitate between the airstrait and the airwrap, you need to take into consideration that depending on your hair type, you won’t be able to curl your air with the airwrap. I own it, and no matter the technique or the products I used, and trust me I tried everything, the curls don’t hold. I have thin straight healthy hair. So if your hair usually don’t hold curls easily with hot tools, you may think twice and ask yourself if you want more like a « natural result » with volume and a bit of frizz and then take the airwrap, or rather super sleek straight hair as with a flat iron with less volume and take the airstrait. If you have a fringe the airwrap would be better as well. Finally, to all these people I always see in the comments of TH-cam videos on dyson tools saying that a dyson is too expensive and they prefer their cheaper tools, you need to understand that a dyson does not damage your hair AT ALL even if you use it every day (using mine every day since November 2022). Which brand can say that without lying ??
You are partially correct. While dyson cause way less damage to the hair than regular cheap products any heat in your hair will cause damage. So no brand can make such claims. Dyson is not da,age free but you are right and is more healthy than others. I feel like other people commenting they perfect their cheap products is because they simply can’t afford this or simply don’t need them. Like yourself that have straight hair, you won’t find useful the airstrait but for us with curly hair is probably a must. I hate people in the comments saying people who spent on this are crazy and not sensible throwing money like that. For some of us without straight hair is literally our only option without damaging as much our hair.
@@SwanTheQueen You’re right, of course heat always creates damage but I meant that I honestly do not see more damage now using the airwrap everyday to when I was only using a cheap hairdryer now and then when I couldn’t wait for my hair to naturally dry. I also think that for people who have to wash their hair everyday because of the gym or very oily hair, it is time saving to dry and style your hair at the same time. That’s the main reason that made me buy a Dyson. I have straight hair but they tend to get a bit wavy or tangly and I hated to use hairdryers because it made my hair frizzy so I had to straighten them which meant even more heat. With thin hair you need to avoid hot tools if you want to keep them long, but when you take a shower in the morning and have to go to work afterwards, you can’t avoid it. That’s why in my opinion, it is also a very useful tool for people with greasy hair or not naturally super sleek straight hair.
@@deborahbrgthe airwrap does make great curls and is versatile. I’ve had mine since it came out and works great. It may just be your hair type, products used & technique. But don’t expect it to give you the same results as a curling iron. It gives pretty voluminous curls & uses less heat so less damage esp over time.
@@deborahbrghave you tried the airstrait? Do you use any pre styling or post styling products? I have a bit frizzy, little wavy & fine hair. Does airwrap give a good straightening effect?
I received my Airstrait a few weeks ago. I also have the Airwrap. So the Airstrait wins 1000%. I have long wavy frizzy hair heavily highlighted. The Airwrap leaves my hair a dry frizzy mess, especially because I use the brush so there is tension on my wet hair when it’s most fragile. I then have to style it with a flat iron or curl wand. I Also have to add a bunch of product to tame and heat protectant. All this takes about 1-1 1/2 hrs. The style doesn’t stay in humidity or after a shower. I shower daily but only wash my hair every 3days. The Airstrait is an All in One. My hair routine went from 1-1/2 hrs to 20 minutes flat. With the Airstrait I don’t have to use a flat iron or a bunch of products to keep my hair from getting frizzy. With the Airstrait my hair doesn’t get frizzy it stays straight even after a long hot shower. I wash my hair every 3days I can’t go longer otherwise I look like a greasy mess. I never had to retouch! The Airstrait leaves my hair silky and glass like extremely flowy and airy if that makes any sense without a bunch of leave in products. Game changer. I’m never going back to Airwrap or the Dyson blow dryer because when I used them they caused so much damage I can only use them occasionally. I already ordered a second Airstrait for travel because I’ve been known to forget stuff in hotels 😢. I can’t see myself ever being without this darn thing. I had the Dyson Corrale flat iron but I returned it because it took 60 minutes to stay hot while plugged. If I unplugged it lost heat in less than 10 minutes ❤❤❤

Definitely not worth getting the airstrait if you have the airwrap already! For the average consumer I mean, but I appreciate you making the video for us!
@@lifewithstaphI have both. Airstrait is nice to get your hair straight without any tension so much less breakage than any round brush or airwrap. I have the airwrap and straightener so the new one isn’t worth it for me but I still watched this anyway 😂
This is less damaging than the corrale tho so not the same. Corrale is hot plates. This is hot air not as damaging.
@@SwanTheQueen it’s all the same to me. I hardly ever use any of them regardless
i see more shine on airstrait 😊
Do you have the regular blowdryer? The smooth attachment is so fast, wondering how that one compares to the other two.
You can still curl with airstrait by using it with round brush
how? By using it in the dryer mode?

Funciona para un cabello muy rizado?
Thank you ❤
Which one creates more volume that's what I'm looking for I have long, fine hair, lots of it, yet don't want it to look flat.... I need one of these!
The airwrap has other attachments, one of them a round brush with which you can create volume.
Airwrap creates a lot of volume
Can u also compare Airstrait with coralle?
I bought the Dyson air wrap and hated it!!! I returned it!!!
I think the air straight would be more my style because I blow dry and straighten my hair everyday!!!❤
What about the ergonomy? The airstraight seems really massive and heavy.
I need to try it in store, im afraid not to feel comfortable using it
Hi! Sorry, just mentioning this in case you can change it, since it may help people find your vid via search; your title has a typo on Airstrait 💖
Thanks!
Can the air strait make a small curl/flip at the ends? No one has address this in any videos. Thanks for this comparison video!
No, it cannot. One video creator said even professional stylists have tried and it definitely can't.
Nope I tried! I got nothing but straight hair
I love the AirStrait and just use a curling iron to quickly get some bounce. It totally tames my frizzy hair 😊
To be honest you were not as careful with the smoothing brush as you were with the airstrait. In the video I saw that you pass it like a normal bush lol that’s not how it works. You also have to section and pull the hair to make it straight. If you only pass the hot brush it will only dry your hair frizzy and puffy like just any hair dryer.
Such a minor difference. But if you add a product the brush could get it straightened.
someone who owns the airwrap said that using the coanda effect at the end as a finish touch added that shiny aspect
Anything will make your hair nice
You have a nice hair.
Hey Patty, saluditos! Would you be able to do curls or loose waves with the Airstrait?
No you wouldn’t
I can make my hair curly with airstrait?
No. It will only straighten your hair.
Здравствуйте! Подскажите кто нибудь, что лучше Airstait vs SteamPod 4.0 ?
I have the airwrap n blow dryer I definitely wanna add this beings I skipped their first hair straightener
Love the video
Bonita, vas a probar la paleta Livin‘ de Ratolina?
How loud are these tools? More high pitched, ear piercing volume or more tolerable sound?
both tolerable but the Airstrait is a bit less loud.
I own air wrap so I’m going to wait for sale on air straight or whatever it’s called 😂
I have the Air Wrap and I think it does nothing special. I have wavy frizzy hair. I just ordered the Air Straight hopefully this will be better. Thank you. Ok I received Airstrait. Hands down the Airstrait is way better. The Air Wrap leaves my hair frizzy, poofy and it takes much longer to dry my hair. The Airstrait leaves my hair shiny, glass like and it’s faster at drying my hair. I just ordered a 2nd Airstrait for travel. I never really used my AirWrap because it always left my hair parched, frizzy and an awful poof. It’s a piece of crap in my opinion and over rated. It’s joined my graveyard of appliances.
Please let us know, when you experience it🌸💕
Thank you for your video ! I was slightly doubting my decision for the airtrait 🥲
My hair is never straight after flat ironing so I wonder if the Air Straight would actually straighten it? My hair is fine and chin length. 🫣 It sounds intriguing!
