- Today we're revisiting my personal favourite route in Train Sim World 4. And ironically, it's a Rivet Games product, but this doesn't mean my opinion on Rivet as a whole has done a complete 180.
Island Line 2022 features the Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin route and Class 484 electric multiple unit. I like this add-on because of its decent quality and unique rolling stock choice, but there are still a few issues with it.

Look forward to these reviews more than any other series on TH-cam!
Even the best things in life aren't immune from criticism. Glad to see you offering valid constructive criticism on something, even if you like it.
This is a good standalone route, and it is nice to drive it from time to time. I also installed the mod as well. I would be interested to see if other standalone routes come to the game like this....
3:51 well done someone said it well done
4:15 one of those passengers on the footbridge just went flying lol
I wish that is had 4 car services. Dont let me do a 4 car service in scenarios but then in service have none. That was my same annoyance with WCL and cathcart.
4 car services are rare on the island, only during summer and even then they barely happen
the time when the timetable is set (around january 2022) only had 2 cars running as 4 cars were unnecessary
@@kuzatheaviator Rare doesn't mean 0 having a couple peak services for the sake of variety isn't bad. Its the same with the seasonal services you see on other routes.
3:41 I really hope it's Rush Hour 2.0 instead of TSW5
Desde mi Argentina nuevo subcritor muy buen video Excelente estimado amigo Like 👍🏻 y saludos 😊 😊
Will you be checking out the berninaline? I don't own it myself but judging from videos in my opinion it looks really good. (And it's a rivet product)
I refuse to buy Rivet's Bernina Line for the sole reason that the route coverage doesn't go all the way to St. Moritz.
@@DC4260Productionsit’s a shame it’s not the full route, but as a prowd owner of it I can say it’s quite good, obv not perfect but considering how bad arose was, this is definitely a step in the right direction. Not saying you should get it, but if it’s on sale for cheap you might wanna, the Allegra is a nice train to drive and the route can be quite fun in freeroam
do you happen to be trainspotter from tauranga? (since you have kiwirail and im subbed to you)
Did you not see the clarification after the intro?
@@DC4260Productions I dont believe I did
@@berillyispog yes he is
@DC4260Productions what do you think about the New TSW5 west coast mainline, Avanti Pack? I have always wanted an Avanti DLC, but what are your thoughts on this?
I am saying nothing about TSW5 unless it's officially announced by Dovetail.
It was a leak technically not official yet.
@@DC4260Productions in my opinion, I don’t really think Dovetail (apparently) should be making a TSW5 with all these products have still be left to decay, not especially the tragedy that they’ve made a basic issue by making A GWR Livery for The Edinburgh-Glasgow Route.
The GWR HST is layered in from Great Western Express, but I agree with your frustration over its presence on a Scottish route.
@@JillValentineLF The west coast mainline would be a welcome addition to the game, so long as they don’t do what they did with the East coast mainline and make the most boring section of the route. And the Class 390 looks pretty cool as well, and I’m curious to see if they make any other new trains for the route.
3:52 it mostly isn’t a dovetail problem it’s a focus entertainment problem tsw by their standards is a yearly release
Train sim world is ok but i'm sick of fanboys and dovetail keeping overhyping routes TSW is a Cash Grab
Trust me I have had 'debates' with loads on the Facebook groups
I’ll never understand how people can defend such a greedy company.
Destroy dovetail offices, that would fix the problem
TSW4 is officially gone!
Tsw5.... Another "Pay us £40 for bug fixes"
