    It would be amazing if you guys could quantify the improvements using an accelerometer app or something.
    Like 0-60 but for bumps.

    I have this kit on my MYP with a different stiffer rear spring. It's crazy good at everything. Damping for the street is perfect. Still at stock height.

      How long ago did you buy it? I have a feeling you have the older kit that uses a straight spring but I could be wrong. We just released this kit.

    The amount of comfort that this setup provides is incredible! I'm highly considering this upgrade for my 2023 MYP, thanks for the detailed testing!

    Hi Rishi,
    I've enjoyed watching your various videos comparing numerous suspensions for Tesla model Y. Since I'm in the Detroit area I can only imagine that the roads in California are considerably more smoother than here in Detroit, home of some of the worst roads in North America, due to large truck volume and crappy winters (freeze, thaw and repeat).
    Would it be possible in future videos to show a split view with one camera focus on the bumpy and cracked road and another one in the cabin?
    I'm trying to see which suspension will considerably smooth out the Detroit streets in my 23 MYLR.
    As of right now which suspension would you recommend for a more luxury ride? Or would 18" wheels with larger side walls do the trick?
    Thanks,
    Kael

    I found it interesting you were not able to lower your ohlins by much. I suppose with supporting parts such as rear camber and toe arms can get the car low. At least my MY is fairly low to the ground. Sounds like these new revisions are great for most Tesla owners looking for comfort. I agree setting mine in the middle was way too bouncy, not comfotable at all. My sweet spot was 3 steps from stiff to accomodate my driving style. I prefer an aggressive set the original Ohlins provide.

  • @qn215

    This excitement is becoming contagious. Would like to see it on the lowered height side. Great feedback from some who knows their dips! What are your thoughts for someone wanting to go with aggressive offset and being closer to the lip and fender? Would these be too soft?

    • @zevcentric

      These wont go low enough because they have soft rates. You need something like BC racing coilovers to do that.

    Ok Rishie, which MPP coilover feels the closest to these Ohlins? I seem to remember you saying even the MPP Sports feeling very compliant on the street for daily driving.

    • @zevcentric

      MPP for Model 3 is great in all their offerings. Model Y is where this excels. Feel free to email me when you are close to making moves. Otherwise you're going to kill yourself with analysis paralysis. The Model 3 is a very easy vehicle to make comfy. The Y is not.

    Is this comparable to the new highland suspension?

    • @zevcentric

      The highland is very numb and loses agility. This gives you both. Cant compare $1000 product made in Mexico to this $3200 one made in Sweden.

  • @theclifbar

    Amazing they took the feedback! How would you compare the bump comfort (at stock ride height) to the most comfortable EDFC-compatible Tein comfort coilovers?

    • @zevcentric

      It’s way better. EDFC has nothing to do with creating additional comfort. The shock will do what the shock will do. That just gives you active damping capability.

    • @zevcentric

      Tein flex also cannot go to factory height on the Teslas.

    • @theclifbar

      @@zevcentric Ah yes I know, but since the EDFC "active" mode can set the shocks to full soft and firm up in less than a second, I guess the question I should have asked is: How is the ride softness of these at the maximum softness compared to the Teins at maximum softness?

    • @Ianmundo

      @@theclifbar no one runs Tein dampers at full soft, I have them on my Model Y and 60-70% soft is the sweet spot. Be warned, Tein dampers make odd noises from the rear. Many people report as much on Teslamotorsclub forum
