Seems like a flavour detachment. Sticky objective,-1 toughness, and -1ap or -1 WS/BS or -1OC looks way better than 5 scout -1 hit without support fire vehicle units receiving the new detachment buff

I JUST played against my friend's today, 750 points! Going to be sending him this video. The full stealth and scouts was crazy vs my Tau. I'm used to his stuff being AFK for 2-3 turns...

It seems the general consensus is that the index is better, but my current experience with the detachment has been really good. It makes me feel more like an unmoveable, tanky wall, which is what i originally expected from Death Guard. Very happy with this detachment.

Played a game a couple of days ago, I'm telling you man, doing tank shok on a 20 man poxwalker squad or 10 plaguemarines for 6 free mortals is so fun.
