I mean , if any other hikers came through and stumbled across you , just playfully existing as you do alone , usually , they’d be scratching their heads like where did she even come from out in this weather. Four miles hike in deep snow, wow! I'm impressed Rosa you're amazing. What an ambitious and adventurous life you lead Rosa. I'm an old dude now, but when I was younger I traveled by bicycle for thousands and thousands of miles, alone and unafraid. There were always people to meet along the way. Rarely did I spend a night alone, campsite to campsite, hostel to hostel, motel to motel, home to home. People saw me traveling by bike, and always wanted to know about me and my travels. I made lots of friends; some friendships lasted for years. Often people opened their home and their lives to me. What seemed best: when I had enough of the company kept, I could simply pack up and move on. Then came the Internet and everything is different now.. we are never truly alone, but also very isolated, when we choose to be really isolated we easily can. Once ending my travels, I missed the solitude fairly often, until I chose to pick out a new life; very isolated and full of the much desired solitude. Solitude just makes much more sense, I like being with people just fine, but often I've discovered many many people don't seem to be with it a whole lot, very often missing the whole point, as it were. So being in solitude is welcomed company. I like myself just fine, often most people are burdensome to navigate atound. You'll do fine Rosa by knowing yourself better than most people know who they really truly are. Your lifestyle is awesome.
You are an intrepid young woman. I wish I were young enough to be still following you when YOU are old! You will have the most amazing adventures to tell young people about! Where I live it looked like this last week - we had the most spectacular winter wonderland - though not nearly as much snow. Winter can be so beautiful. I’m absolutely sick of watching entitled, whining criminal on the cop cams. I was loosing hope for humanity, but luckily I stumbled onto another side of TH-cam. This young person an exceptional example of human spirit. More kids should take her lead, hell more adults should too. Please stay safe!!
