The sound that emanates from these cantors is abrasive and awful. They all sound alike and are a distraction. Bring back choirs. If the congregation doesn't care to sing, what's the issue? Further, the watered-down of Novus Ordo liturgies is tragic.
Are you just going to ignore how good the choir sounds? I understand your complaints - but you are being overly pessimistic for no reason. Give credit where credit is due at the very least. The choir performs beautiful hymns in this Mass like Ave Verum Corpus that deserve at least a partial concession from you. There is a way to seek to improve things while not acting like a rabbi from the New Testament,
