His equation was wrong though. There’s nothing shameless about what ferrel just did. That angle of dangle being inversely proportional to meat heat is wrong. It’s fake news, and it’s misinformation which could get someone killed. The actual equation is Length times Girth over Angle of the Shaft (aka YAW) divided by mass over width. Amber, Surely you will join me in admitting that Will Ferrell's overall body of work is not great. He had some good sketches, like this one, but he had a tendency to overact. Case in point, his cameos on NBC's The Office. He ruined an otherwise amazing scene where the Dunder Mifflin gang sings to Michael as he prepared to move to Colorado to be with Holly. I would love to read your input on Ferrell's (over)acting. I hope all is well with the O'Leary gang. My wife, Elaine Wilson-Carrocia, and I were just talking about you the other day. Our youngest, Connor Wilson-Carrocia, asked Elaine if we could go visit with "Aunt Amber" on his Spring Break. We plan to travel to see Elaine's mother (aka Gamma Pie). She recently moved into a Senior Living Community. Elaine's father (aka Poppy Bear) passed away in May and Gamma Pie sold the farm to a man named Carl Givens. Mr. Givens plans to develop the land into a new neighborhood (Hickory Wood Estates). Elaine is very upset about this. Gamma Pie seems to be taking it ok. Elaine often shares memories of you and her playing around in the barn and chasing the geese around. I just wish my children got to experience more time on the farm. with Poppy Bear and Gamma Pie. Does your mother still make those good apple fritters? Stop by and see Gamma Pie sometime. That would make her day! I've never put much credence in either theory of SNL having bad writers or a lack of onscreen talent. I think SNL can pretty much have their pick of up and coming talent (on-screen or writing) that know a stint on SNL can stamp their ticket to whatever entertainment industry ambitions they have. They also have the gravitas and resources to pull in "hired guns" (like Alec Baldwin, this season, to be Trump) for extra cast "firepower" or dedicated alumni willing to come back for cameos and help out with writing, recruiting talent and so forth. To me, I think the problem is that they assemble the talent and it doesn't always mesh together into a good team. Maybe the writing styles don't match the strengths of the performers or the cast has a lot of people with the same/similar talent strength and it leads to the skits all being similar and keeping any recurring characters from breaking out and getting popular or cast members don't get along, etc. It's a similar dynamic like you see in a sports team that brings in a group of talented players but the team doesn't perform close to as good as the talent indicates it should. The common denominator of seasons considered to be among the all time best are that they have multiple recurring characters and the fans are always looking forward to which ones will be on the show this week and how long until the ones that weren't will return. Any of the "average" sketches that are amusing become funnier when sandwiched between sketches of popular recurring characters.

And then fled the country.
FlyingOverTr0ut I take the duke. Keep yo flies.
Will Ferrel makes more people break character then anybody else. I don’t know how people keep straight faces during certain sketches. I would be dying.
This is just pure gold, a real masterpiece! SNL needs to be this hilarious and inappropriate again!
Oh my, The light of SNL has shown upon me. Thank goodness. Keep em coming SNL keep em coming!
Dale is the man! LOL
SPFSTS lol
watching the cast members try to keep it together during really funny skits makes me so happy
if memory serves me correctly, this was the very first sketch post 9-11, when SNL went back on the air after a 6 week hiatus in honor the fallen during 9-11... a lot of us still had tears in our eyes from that day, but this was the kind of laughter we so desperately needed.
4:00 Seann William Scott lost his bearing haha great skit though! USA! USA! USA!
SETH LOOKS LIKE A BABY
i mean they all do but
SETHHHH
Was that Stifler and Seth Myers?

Horatio Sanz supporting Will so much in this makes it feel sweet and funny
I laughed so hard! I was choking at the end! What happened to this kind of comedy! Farrell is comedy GOLD!
Why are long pants long
Why are bushes bushy?
Fine come back

Anna Nguyen well that was his and Amy's first season there lol they were the rookies
Palaniappan Ramanathan he looks like a fucking ghoul now
Can you imagine how many people can pull of this “skit?” Go Be in a thong on live tv and get some coffee and act natural
0:17...
Any Poehler's reaction tells me he wasn't wearing this in dress rehearsal 😂
True. This is correct. He hat on shorts in rehearsal
Will Ferrell is a fing nut . He will do anything for a laugh. Nugget pouch. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Only SNL could have came up with something like this!
Will Ferrell is comedy gold!
Horatio Sanz losing it is priceless!
I remember when this aired. I really didn't know how or if they'd be able to do this show two weeks after 9/11. It was much needed at that time and it was great. Cant believe it's been 20 years.
Well that even beats Dan Aykroyd as the appliance repairman coming to fix the old Norge.
Pohler's a consummate pro, OMGosh!!! 👏😂 And she & Dratch got an eyeful & pretty up close & personal there, lol. Just hilarious, especially since he surprised them all with that in air instead of the Daisy Dukes! Wow. Brilliant! ✨️🇺🇲✨️👏U👏S👏A!!!👏✨️🇺🇲✨️ Thank you, Will! Thanks for your service, lol, & ALL the laughs! ✨️💖✨️
Honestly the funniest SNL skit. The confidence is extrodinary and hilarious. Thank you will for helping Heal America. Whenever I feel sad I'll turn on this skit. "Why are long pants long" lmao
I saw nothing wrong with his attire
Watched this when it originally aired and could not stop laughing. Next to the Blue Oyster "Cowbell" sketch, this is my second favorite Will Ferrell SNL sketch of all time. 😂
Will Ferrell is hilarious. The reactions of the others in the sketch are priceless.
What an Icon!!!!! He is the best!!! Love Him!!! One of my favorite comedians
“I guess what it all comes down to is that the angle of my dangle is inversely proportional to the heat of my meat …right?’ ROFL
Amy's face when he walked in was 100% real lol
Classic SNL.
400KrispyKremes I love your profile pic
Yeah.
400KrispyKremes Cool. Which one are you? Hopefully, you're not a nasty strawberry or pumpkin-spice donut.
@@versailleschick1994 he's clearly all 400 of them
SHOWINGS OF PATRIOTISM 😂😂😂😂 I'm dying
Rubbing the shrimp on her back was priceless. I can watch the video over and over. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
guys this was amys second ever snl sketch!
What was her first?
One of my favorite skits of SNL.
It's been a year and I'm still 🤣🤣🤣 and I'm very sure that this skit will hit me even if I watch it after 5-10 yrs🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I believe Elaine said it best. "Naked is not a good look for a man."
Well, I've seen some pretty impressive "naked" that would counter that statement. (Wink)
I remember being equally grossed out and intrigued as a kid watching this 😂 the dad bod is real
Its also not a good look for most women.
Yes it is!!!
So classic. Everything was so depressing, horrific and traumatizing at that time and Will gave us a great laugh.
I remember this was not long after 9/11. Thanks to Will for helping us get through those tough times
