The I love you finger is standard communication in my house! It started on accident.
When I first started texting I wanted to use a different color thumbs up than the usual yellow. I found the “right” color and started using that one. A month or two later I was looking for the wink emoji so I took off my glasses to see the details better. That’s when I realized that I had been inadvertently using the bird finger instead of the thumbs up!
Nobody had ever said anything to me, not even the people from church. I hate to think of how many times I sent that out before I realized my mistake. Fortunately my family just thought it was funny and it’s been a thing ever since.

I feel for Penn. I am no longer allowed to play Trivial Pursuit with my friends because I've collected too much random knowledge.
My family hates playing trivia games with me. I tell them I know more because I'm older. 😅. They cheat collectively to stop me from winning.

We had to ban trivial pursuit from our house because it would turn into just my dad and my sister in a death match for six hours. Not even kidding
When Trivial Pursuit first came out my father won the roll-off to go first. He then proceeded to win the game. On. One. Roll.
He then got up and walked away mumbling about what a dumb game it was.
We never invited him to play again.
My family won’t play Boggle w me cuz I’m too fast at coming up with every short word lol

Played scattagories in the 90’s camping with a couple and i won a lot. My friends husband quit the game angry cause i wasn’t doing it right! We laughed at him cause my words were correct and it was a vacation trip - geez man calm down and have fun. Thanks for bringing that memory back. You are great!

We don’t have game night because we’re all different shades of neurodivergent. Mom gets bored of doing the same thing over again. Brother zones out and forgets when it’s his turn. I go to get a snack and get distracted by something and forget we’re even playing.
But we do our own thing and coexist in the same space for an hour every other day.

A lot of us like it because it shows that she can laugh at herself and doesn't mind that Penn is ruthlessly pointing out some less-than-ideal behaviors. Otherwise it might just look mean.
