I would love to see a series on this client or another with severely bitten nails so we could see the progress over time. Thank you!

Yes, there is a series in all about nails. This is in German language but you will understand what she does as you see it very clearly in the films.
I think it is three films.
First she did something with glitter, then three or four weeks later something with mixed colour, then her employee did while she was on holiday. Last one is French manicure and it looks like the customer never had bitten her nails at all.
      It lasted three months.
Watch it and do the same, girls. It is so worth it. Don't forget to get some nice cuticle oil for massage every evening.
Just get jojoba oil at pharmacy. Add some drops of vitamin E and maybe essential oil for nice scent. This helps cuticles and healthy nail growing.
In September your nails will be fine to show and never hide the ugly nails.
You can wear nice rings on them.

Naomi D my mom bought a nail goat that would be extremely disgusting once u got it in ur mouth. The problem was that u couldn’t touch anything, if u wanna eat u would know the stuff would enter ur mouth. A few years ago I filed my nails and let them grow. Had to paint them pretty much daily for a solid 2 years, if they weren’t perfect or I had a edge it could get be back to zero. I completely destroyed my nails in the process. Around 2 years ago I stopped completely with nail polish. I started on a labratory and nail polish became problematic. Unfortunately I picked up a new habbit while trying to get rid of one. I started bitting my lip severly. Unfortunately that habit is not gonna go away any time soon . I got scar tissue in my mouth and always wounds. But it’s still better than the nail bitting.

I used to be a huge nail biter, so I always had short nails that sometimes got too short and really hurt. What I did was I said ‘ok you can bite every nail but you’re not allowed to bite the nails on your pinky finger’. When those started to get long with time, I felt more motivated and decided to stop biting my ring finger nails also. Those got long and I decided to stop biting my middle and pointed finger nails. eventually I was only biting my thumbs, then not at all. I’m not sure if it will work for you but it’s worth a shot aye

I used to bite my nails, whenever I caught myself about to bite my nails I would just say ‘No’ then do something to distract myself,mi got a passion in taking care of them and using nail cream and products and now they are pretty dope. If that doesn’t work, wear clear nail polish, whenever you go to bite them it will be really gross so you won’t want to do it anymore haha.

Girl, I am proud of you 😘.
Mix your own cuticle and nail oil it will help you.
Go to pharmacy, get a small bottle of jojoba oil. Add some drops of vitamin E and if you like some drops of nice essential oil.
There you go. This is for the last inch of long hair as well.
Please no experiments on any perfume or cheap oil perfume. It will not blend with jojoba oil and stays on top like bubbles.
Jojoba oil is more a liquid wax than oil. Therefore it is so perfect for nails and hair.

Well, you can not relax in stressful times when your body is suffering in need of nutrition.
You literally eat yourself by biting your nails.
Help your desperate body with healthy food.
It is not just esthetics with biting nails. Tension needs attention.
Please make sure you take some health supplements.
Vitamin b for nerves, magnesium helps before sleep to relax.
Most important for you is omega 3. Get some in healthy oil and put one tablespoon in breakfast, lunch and dinner or just take capsules of fish oil if you prefer that.
Please make sure to eat hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds.
Buy fresh, not salty, not sugar-coated, not with chocolate.
Almonds with brown skin just put 15 in a cup with water and pinch of salt.
Next morning you peel off the skin and take the almonds for breakfast, dinner, whatever.
Try porridge for breakfast. Wonderful for nerves, hair, nails. Add some omega 3 oil, fruit, nuts, whatever you like.
The more stress you have the more healthy vitamins you need.
There is a saying in Europe for lazy people. If you have good times you may do some jogging.
If you have stressful times you must do jogging.
So, to get yourself through whatever is in your live, try running twice a week.
Do some research on healthy food and easy recipes.
      All the best.

Been two weeks since I last bit my nails! It's been very hard not to want to bite again but if you're also trying not to bite, I hope your journey is going good.
Btw if you want to fight the urge once your nail is finally showing white from the length, I just constantly clean the dirt out from under them.
I know its weird but it honestly helps.
I also get a foamy soap when washing my hands and try to scrape the soap with my nails. The feeling helps sooth me so I don't get the urge.

Me encantaron!

Hah, it's funny that I get this as recommended when it's now the second day on growing my nails out xD
I've been a nail biter pretty much my whole life and I've only successfully grown them out a total oooooofffff... 2 times. It is a problem that I wish I could stop.
As I said, this is my second day. Yesterday I pushed the cuticles back and made my nail bed nice and pretty so I could paint them. I find it helps immensely when I have nail polish on my nails when trying to grow them out. Not only do they look good but I feel good too!

    • @ghost-writer007
      @ghost-writer007 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

@A M its not the same that small area of skin is there to protect your nails from infection. When this skin is removed, your nail is left unprotected from bacteria and fungus. Cuticles should never be cut or trimmed as it leads to infections and ultimately damage to the nail.
