I disagree on him covering any of PHS songs, he would ruin it how grace did with "Yearning", honestly he only has his emotions in his voice which makes him sound ok, but he has no singing capability, and if you really listen he lacks power in the lows, yells on all the focken high notes, unstable notes, no grasp of vibrato, runs, rifts, falsetto, head voice, chest voice, he wont impress anyone covering any of PHS song in my opinion. PHS is way to good for this guy to even compare with. JYP and the vocal trainers even said the same things about his singing. Please dont ever cover PHS songs

Because I've been hearing consistently from the judges that techniques he can learn because he's still young. But it's difficult to teach someone how to convey empathy. Also, it's unfair comparing a seasoned ballad vocalist who majored in music against an amateur who learned music on his own and hasn't even gone to college.
With the way he is now, he's not up to the league to cover PHS on live tv. I'm sorry if I offend you but unfortunately many ignorant people want to see and believe what's good on TV. There is nothing wrong with his way of conveying empathy or expressing his emotions in any songs, in fact this season show is mostly focused on it and he's really good at it but because I respect PHS so much as a singer from the beginning when no one recognized him until now, it bothers me how JSH can audition with a song topping #1 charts as an amateur when many composers and aritst like Yoo Hee-yeol's worked so hard on their music, leaves him upset, rated below when he should've been 1st, putting fake smiles and complimenting about it during the show when in actuality he was dissapointed. DPbruh I'm pretty sure he could do it, so long as he doesn't buckle under the pressure of singing a Park Hyo Shin song lol. His musicality reminds me of PHS quite a bit, actually. They're both very good at dynamic control and milking the emotional crescendos for everything they're worth haha

But I personally think that it's because he's quite a perfectionist himself. Remember when he mentioned how he haven't studied for an entrance exam because he's too busy with his passion in music. But at the same time explaining that he's got to wear a glasses because he's quite worried about his look and people suggest it will help with his look. I think maybe because he's thinking too much and spend half of the time inside his own world...that's why sometimes his words or his move seem to be very calculated and look fake to some. I honestly think he was just...talking to himself inside his head really hahaha He's just a legitimate stubborn yet quiet kid. I think that's why people love him. I do too. Who wouldn't right?
