The first book I ever read on meditation was Wherever You Go, There You Are. And now, 11 years after, I again find solace in your words. Im going through a really tough separation but this meditation gave me relief from the noise of my own ego. Thank you for being so generous with all of us.
This practice has truly helped me right now, here on 1st May 2024, it is still relevant, and will most probablt still be relevant and helpful years from now, truly greatful Jon 🙏
Thank you Jon, again and again. Just in the first few minutes already being so allinclusive and welcoming and essential. It is truely a gift and so helpful and uplifiting.
So helpful. Reverting to this meditation is a regular practice and reminder, that to drop down is my best action when life events bring inner turmoil. 💐. Thank you. Jon.
Thank you for sharing this video from the end of March 2020. At that time I had a found a daily meditation with Valarie Kaur. She is an author lawyer , social activist started the Revolutionary Love Project in 2018, who lives in California and wrote the book “See No Stranger” . I mediated and shared her presence, thoughtful insights and compassion every day for 5 months. I was and am deeply grateful for this opportunity to connect with this beloved community which she created. May all beings be safe, be happy, be healthy, live with ease.
His definition of silence and mine are polar opposites. I like his overall comments, but they should be couched more in the sense of a lecture and less in the sense of a meditation - especially, one on silence.
Blah blah is part of meditation too as he said, we need meditation to be the default of our being., we can meditate 24 /7 and tune into silence even if its loud around us, its a mindset that can get us out of the turbulences of life...... in every day life with all its blah blahness :))

It’s a guided meditation which assumes most only have brief moments of silence, for which he provides structure.
Silence? I hear blah blah blah, sorry.
