Great job. How long did it take you to complete the job form beginning to end and how much did that fiber optic cost?
About 14 hours combined both days but I have been doing this for a while for can be up to 5 days for a new beginner my first install 5 years ago took me 1 week lol

It’s pretty hard if you never done, since I can handle a whole headliner by myself it’s easy for me but for someone that never done it I recommend two people just uploaded another Durango video if you wanna check that out I did 2000 star lights on this one

Kit from Amazon ..my question is the interior lights how do u do that? U put it behind the pillar but what do u tap into and etc .
it depends on the car but most of the time it goes in the back of a trunk liner for like sedans
that's something you need to check before you even start the install check where the box can fit then start your install
What do you use to poke the holes ? A thick needle? Push pin?
yea a needle with a tool to hold the needle easier, but starting to use the Dremel with a 1/16 drill bit

Is there a way you can show us how you spliced the cigarette lighter to the box. I just got my Durango and I’m doing the starlights and that’s the only thing that confuses me
Just cut the end of it, there is going to be a red wire with black wire check my eclipses truck install at the end I should the fuse tap part
Would it be the same set up as you would splice for the Durango ?

Someone did my headliner n honestly they weren’t pros some1 passed them the job now my reac camera don’t work or the ac vents on the headliner maybe that rear top connector that plugged in
need to take it back to them so they can retrace all there work

What do you mean by trash can you see them? Or feel them?
Yes, I can feel them and see them. It looks like linty carpet. Maybe I should cut the fiber down a little more.

My lights come on with the dimer but if I try to turn on manually with the button they dont turn on the center front and rear I plugged everything up back

If I’m not mistaken I did say it’s a Torque 27 it’s just a screw doesn’t take much common sense to know how to take a screw out sorry I didn’t show it lol
