The game features Batman and his sidekick Robin fighting their most dangerous foes, who have all broken out of Arkham Asylum and split into four groups to wreak havoc across Gotham City. The story is split into four scenarios, one for each group whose leaders hope to achieve certain goals:
This game came out in 2008 and it was the first Tt game to have an original plot. Lego Batman 2 had voice work, but this still did not. Nonetheless it's still funny and charming. We hope you enjoy!

Kinda odd how in the ds version only joker and penguin got group members shafted (killer moth and man bat respectively) yet riddlers team was left unchanged

Ah, the nostalgia I'm getting from this! I'm not sure how I feel about the dialogueless cutscenes though.
I think the characters not speaking adds to the fun. As a kid I would always make up the dialogues in my head, like with real Lego

Is it weird that a game with no voice actors that the only word said was YAY is better than a game with voice acting to every charecter with every area of every detail?
Well, I’m more concerned about how long it takes.
Just animating with no voice actors can take a couple of months, maybe one year to the maximum.
But animating, adding better graphics and contacting the right voice actors (if it’s not a game with dialogue from a movie) then it would take at least two years, or at least one year.
So I’m pretty sure the voice acting one takes more time than just “yay”.
