In 60 years riding motorcycles I've had wasps, yellow jackets, bees and all kinds of stinging insects find their way up my long pants legs and do their stings on my legs, I wouldn't even consider wearing shorts in a vehicle like this for that reason. Those open shorts blowing up allow way too much access to the family jewels! LOL
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Curtis Jude Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Of all the reverse trikes on TH-cam, this is by far my favorite !!! Simple, basic, lightweight, single seat. The only two things I would change would be a 1400 Kaw engine (HAAA!!! Why?.... Because we can.) and a rear tire about 14 inches wide and super sticky. Hats off to you, sir, for building a SUPER TOY !!!
Dude imagine that thing with a BMW S1000RR engine with the quickshifter . Only time you need clutch is to start rolling and when you need to stop at a red light ...
It is, but compared to the wight of the stock ZX-9r, that's a lot. I'm guessing OP doesn't ride sport bikes, because a normal motorcycle rider would not be going on like they were gonna die; they are used to the speed and exposure. The trike is probably a lot safer actually, at least in terms of single vehicle accidents; it can spin out without pitching you, for example. On the other hand, it probably corners & brakes better than the motorcycle, due to lower center of gravity. That's gotta be fun, and maybe a bit scary.
Cool budy, glad i found your video. Im in northeast b.c. living on my pension right now, i gave a kawasaki 900 elliminator gathering dust while i ride my other bikes. Wont be the same, but close...
From something out of your head transformed into metal, it's brilliant. I'm building something similar in Oz, doubt it will be as good as yours though, definitely not as light. We need a reverse here dammit, and we have the dreaded Australian Design Rules which now include the requirement to have the frame Xrayed and stress-crack tested. It looks as though your frame is mig welded, though I'm using tig, trying for neatness of welds to give the signatory engineer, who has to pass the thing, a warm fuzzy feeling, before it gets officially examined and approved for registration. I've a long and difficult road ahead, but as you alluded to in the commentary, persistence pays dividends. It'll be on youtube sometime next year so look out for it. Great job, thoroughly impressed. Don't concern yourself with the negative comments; most are jealous and many don't know their arses from their elbows and couldn't screw a nut on a bolt, let alone build something marvellous...
Apart from the dreaded ADR's, Laws vary from state to state, so even if you have something that is legal in NSW for example, you could get busted if you ride/drive it into SA (the Nanny State). The laws in South Australia are ludicrous. But our bees are lethal, so the comments about riding in shorts are valid!
@@davespencer1951 I built it to the point of looking for a suitable motorcycle rear end. Built the main framework, front suspension and steering, pedals mounted, seating sorted etc. Quite a lot of work went into it, but we went to the UK for a holiday and we bought a little open car to drive around in. I suggested to my wife that I would like one back in Oz. She said sure but I couldn't have both. So we bought a little 2 seater Tigra and I scrapped the trike idea before I'd put too much money into it. The time gone into it was irrelevant. BC is pretty lenient with home-build motorcycle and trike, your build is road worthy once you’ve demonstrated to the insurance agent it’s got headlight, speedometer and sufficient brake.

After a long look I said " I already know the answer, but you know I have to ask." He smiled alittle and nodded. "Do you want to sell it?" The smile grew bigger, then "no" I've never seen another one. I did build a dune buggy using a volkswagen pan, a roll cage and powered by a 750 Yamaha three cylinder shaft drive engine. Mated the Yamaha output shaft to a VW clutch plate then slid it on the verge trans input. Engine sat "backwards" ( for a motorcycle) only issue was the output shaft turned backwards. I never got around to flipping the ring gear and carrier So we had 5 gears forward (reverse on the vw and five on the Yamaha) and 15 in reverse. (Three ranges on vw and five on the Yamaha)
I love it its like mine only mine has 4 wheels...... I love it built it myself street legal.. 0-60 2.8 0-100 4.5 But he needs to shift it right, I band shift mine and it tears up asphalt. Yeaaahh... I have a smaller "road illegal" trike but is ELECTRIC, super lightweight (36kg) with a custom 42kw triple motor, I've got a video in my channel showing this homemade death trap... POWEEEEEERRR hahaaaa *one day I'll make a bigger and safer road legal version like this green one here =]
dlb83082 nobody cares about buying petrol anymore... last time I went to the petrol station was in 2014... imagine how much money I saved per week... I could buy another car and a motorcycle with all that money...
ch q YESSS... you know what I'm talking about... hahahaa Just got a new and more powerful battery, I'm making some modifications trying to make it even faster.. more POWEEEEERR ohhh yeaahhh =]
I put a DKW 800cc triple two stroke engine tuned and balanced into a 1959 Frisky family 3 chassis in 1972, it did 120mph in a straight line. The difference was it had a fiberglass body shell. chassis was 2 inch tube steel rear wheel drive the same. My engine was old school the Kwaker engines are perfect well done.
Amazing machine! That was a motorcycling wave. You just hold your arm/hand down at about a 45%. On a motorcycle you don't want to throw your weight off by waving your hand up and it could be confused with arm turn signaling. Motorcycle wave image --- i.ytimg.com/vi/8rl8SGgP1Qg/hqdefault.jpg
Yeah the ZX-14R has more power, but the Vmax is essentially two V-twins side by side. A Vtwin makes it's power down low in a way that most i-4's don't. The T-Rex manufactured out of Canada uses the 1352cc ZX-14 engine, if my memory serves me correct.
Really? It's not exactly a new concept is it! People have been building these for Decades, and there are many, many out there with much more powerful Engines fitted. It's nice, but it's nothing special. Maybe do a little research first?
I do not think you know what a concept is buddy. There can be a new car concept but it is still just a car and they have been made before. Thing is that this trike is not like any other trikes. Maybe do a little research first?
as much as it does look hard to get legal, when you stop and think about it.. that engine came from a bike.. all that power was on 2 skinny wheels.. this thing has 3 big grippy tyres, big disc brakes, good suspension, and a strong steel frame/ roll cage. its actually safer than a bike. there is no way in hell it should ever even be considered as potentially illegal. that being said, i feel sorry for the kawasaki ninja this engine came from, dont know if i would prefer the original bike or this, lol. okay, no definitely this. and good on adam for getting that thing road legal, cutting through that bs red tape. what a legend, opened the doors for all sorts of potential vehicles. respect.
Time to dust off the TIG welder and find a wrecked CBR1100RR. I think I'm getting a divorce.
A V-Rod motor ! Or a hyabusa, BMW K1100, Gixxer... alloy steel,or aluminum frame.. gotta love the builder's creation..
Cheaper than therapy.

no quick shifter?
The guy who built it at some point said you use the clutch for going from stop and downshifting, so I guess there is a quickshifter installed.
Lucas D wrong, clutchless upshifting does not mean quickshifter.
Maybe a slipper clutch.
But can it drift tho?
And if it doesn't, just put a motorcycle rear wheel on and then it certainly will. (due to less contact area between the grund and tire.)
IsbjörnXII (we caught it the first time bud)
You can drift it if you want, just put a hard compound tire on the rear.
Yeaaahh... I have a smaller "road illegal" trike but is ELECTRIC, super lightweight (36kg) with a custom 42kw triple motor, I've got a video in my channel showing this homemade death trap... POWEEEEEERRR hahaaaa
*one day I'll make a bigger and safer road legal version like this green one here =]
nobody cares about buying batteries
dlb83082 nobody cares about buying petrol anymore... last time I went to the petrol station was in 2014... imagine how much money I saved per week... I could buy another car and a motorcycle with all that money...
ElectricBike isn't it the recumbent trike? Like the video you hit the throttle and the wheels spin as you take off like a bullet
ch q YESSS... you know what I'm talking about... hahahaa
Just got a new and more powerful battery, I'm making some modifications trying to make it even faster.. more POWEEEEERR ohhh yeaahhh =]
Batteries scare me only because if you get hit your driving around a bomb
I put a DKW 800cc triple two stroke engine tuned and balanced into a 1959 Frisky family 3 chassis in 1972, it did 120mph in a straight line. The difference was it had a fiberglass body shell. chassis was 2 inch tube steel rear wheel drive the same.
My engine was old school the Kwaker engines are perfect well done.
WOW! That looks like some serious FUN!
Beautiful. I love it!!! Isuggest a windscreen, 60 percent coverage side panels and for safety a darn helment!!!!!
Shut up and take my money.
Amazing machine!
That was a motorcycling wave. You just hold your arm/hand down at about a 45%. On a motorcycle you don't want to throw your weight off by waving your hand up and it could be confused with arm turn signaling.

In England we do the biker's nod.
olly killick same here in aus
i nod sometimes when i'm in the car, the kids wonder what i'm doing.
Mark Brown buncha dumb shit
Swap in the 1,679cc Vmax motor from Yamaha.
Lifted_Above what? A super heavy turd of an engine . No thanks
Lifted_Above you meant turbo busa motor right
Why not the ZX-14R? Much more awesome and power!!!!
Akmal Hakim Yes I have to agree
Yeah the ZX-14R has more power, but the Vmax is essentially two V-twins side by side. A Vtwin makes it's power down low in a way that most i-4's don't.
The T-Rex manufactured out of Canada uses the 1352cc ZX-14 engine, if my memory serves me correct.
I can’t describe just how much I need this in my life.
One badass trike, congrats, market that thing !
I call it ..... Carcycle.. Aha!! ...😌😌😌😌
Nanji Legend... It's a Kawasaki not a Bicycle. Since when are bicycles fuel powered? And he doesn't have to CYCLE😑
Try and google TRex motorcycle same exact thing only for 2 people. Been around for awhile.
That one has a frame a windsheild some models have doors it has arch covers a small storage area on the wheel.
It is nothing like this.
Lovely engineering. You should produce these.
Great work and great result.
Damn !! This awesome bro
I love it! Did some math and realized my vette cart will be 4.2lbs/hp. This machine here is 5.2lbs/hp!! oooh this will be fun!
Very well done! It's a beauty
whoooaa that was amazing , enjoy your ride
This is such a sick machine...I have a 2003 ZX9R with the E motor and now i know what i'm going to do with it :)
Awesome work bro 😘😘😘
as much as it does look hard to get legal, when you stop and think about it.. that engine came from a bike.. all that power was on 2 skinny wheels.. this thing has 3 big grippy tyres, big disc brakes, good suspension, and a strong steel frame/ roll cage. its actually safer than a bike. there is no way in hell it should ever even be considered as potentially illegal. that being said, i feel sorry for the kawasaki ninja this engine came from, dont know if i would prefer the original bike or this, lol. okay, no definitely this. and good on adam for getting that thing road legal, cutting through that bs red tape. what a legend, opened the doors for all sorts of potential vehicles. respect.
Way better than Spider or Slingshot. The sound alone does it for me, shifting sounds cool.
Excellent job ADAM
Amazin contraption, best of both worlds
Good work
