*Correction:* The reference to the part of the letter where Paul says the letter "was written with anguish and tears" is written as 2 Cor. 1:3-4. It should be corrected to 2 Cor. 2:3-4.

Had you thought about turning these amazing drawings into posters and selling them on your website. They would be super popular, would be a great visual reminder for an office or bible study area, and would help you fund other projects.

It both amazes (and saddens) me that even after 2,000 yrs us believers often have these same problems.

Yep. That's why these epistles are included in scripture. God knew that humans never change. Paul's rebukes and corrections would need to be echoed throughout the ages. So God providentially arranged for these epistles to be included in the canon.

For new Christians such as myself, I share a fabulous book.. “hermeneutics is for everyone”. By Daniel Goephrich. A fabulous book that teaches in simple fashion, how to study the bible. Its a great way to learn. And then i add great clips like this one. Hugs my sisters and brothers.

I cried when I heard that God values humility and weakness because his love and power were made known through the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is so different from the values of the culture I have and am living in, where you have to boost about yourself and consider a lot about mianzi / how people look at you. I am autistic and have always been trying to be on par with the social standard that the people around me are living up to. It is a never ending torture for me, as I can only change my behaviour to conform but never my root. The fact that God values humility and weakness means that I can be ‘stupid’ and ‘rude’ like how they have mocked me and that simply come to God admitting that I am weak and he is strong. This world is wicked and complicated, but through Jesus we can be reconnected with God and can have something to hold on to. I am really grateful for the Bible and for God’s grace.

Great summary. I read 2nd corinthians and honestly, it took me so long to finish it that I couldn't grasp some of the main ideas of it. I did get a few memorable nuggets here and there. Thank you for blessing us with this summary clip. YOu brought to light and made clear things that were initially dim to me, such as the idea of ears being turned away from Paul because of his appearance, socioeconomic status, etc. However, these are the things that made him so similar to Jesus. Sometimes expectations create barriers that prevent people from experiencing the gospel of Jesus and who he really is. It happened when Jesus was performing miracles on the Earth and it continues to happen now. Jesus presenting himself in such a humble manner, and Paul as well, takes the exclusivity out of Christianity. He came for the poor and rich, the broken and the confused, the educated and the uneducated. And no matter what your background is...He can use you for his purpose.
    I love it.

I would like to thank you for all the hard work on making the "kind of hidden" meanings of the Bible available for everyone. I am not a Christian in fact but a Muslim who's a fan of Jesus, and your videos make me realize how the holy bible is so full of great teachings.
Moreover, your videos never fail to show the hope that's in the scriptures, and that's something the world has always needed and will always need.
Again thanks a lot. This really helps me while I'm going through the books that make this great holy Book.

It’s sad to me how many comment there are about how “the church has never changed”. The church is Gods chosen instrument to bring light into peoples hearts, and is the bride of Christ! If we don’t believe in the church and how beautiful she is, it’s no wonder we’ve never seen a change. Let’s try being encouraging rather than being self righteous

I cried as i watched this! No kidding! The moment you said "Christ made Himself poor for us to be rich" i think the Spirit touched me thr! Paul really understood the cross; its about sacrificing, he did nit brag about what he was, but it was through his weakness that he really understood the love of God. The cross really changes everything!!

Wow, thank you for this. The insights here are very helpful for me personally.
2 Corinthians 10 brought me here to get a handle on what the book was about, because I wasn't sure.

Hooooooooooow wonderful this video is! My church and I are reading through the 2nd Corinthians and reading the same Bible over and over could be a bit tedious and lose its first wonder. This video has remarkable artistry and the narration well done, and the content of the video itself is quite sound and solid teaching too. Well done guys! I am thrilled to have found this channel and I will prayerfully consider supporting you guys :)

Thanks for clarifying. Even after all these years of reading the Bible, I feel like there are always things I miss, and I sometimes have trouble remembering the context....especially the way Paul writes with midrash and diatribe and all that jazz. I find the more I understand about a passage of Scripture, the more I get out of reading it, so thanks a lot. Do you have these for the whole Bible? I might just head over to an overview of Genesis and work my way through Revelation.
