You're right. The time I was active reppin the GD's I created my own ways running my click and my mentality was similar to the mobs ways. We wouldn't always pull up on rivals. I would sit down with high ranking rivals and earn together. The police went easy on us when we were caught because they watched me and new what I was doing.

It’s normal in the Italian-American Cosa Nostra that more junior guys are assigned to run errands for and look after more senior guys. It is not considered a sign of disrespect though - it is a normal part of working your way up the ranks. If anything, it means you get close to the captain or boss, so it can actually mean you gain power. You see it in mob movies all the time. It’s also how it worked in medieval European nobility - if a lord could get himself into the position that he was running errands for the king, he was doing pretty well. Good things would follow.

Shaun, as I've said in previous posts, I've read your trilogy of prison books and they're brilliant. When, or, are you going to Brighton?
I'd love to make my way down to see/hear you.
    Cheers mate.

on the other hand, Gotti was paying protection to the AB in the Federal system. So I guess it depends on where you are doing time

These videos are great love them! One question- apart from following rules and keeping out of harm, are there any ways in prisons to set yourself up better to not reoffend and have you seen or heard of any people who did well because of any education etc. n jail?

The parallels between the prison and the university are uncannily similar. I was able to survive in the University of California system for twenty-one years and beat two "hearings" in three years before they gave me some money to not come back for Academic Year 2017-18. That's because I was raised in a Japanese American hoodlum milieu in the Los Angeles of the 1950s. My father was an associate of the notorious Mickey Cohen. Let's have a chat for your subscribers about high crimes and misdemeanors at a supposedly elite public American university, which is stocked with snitches, scientific killaz, informers, rats, "bent" muthas, and worse. Carry on Mr. Attwood.
